In religious Life guilt is a common emotional experience. This study has been carried out to find out: How the Old and New Testaments speak about guilt? What are the words used by the Old and New Testaments writers in explaining the mental process involved in experiencing guilt? As Guilt was first vividly analyzed in psychoanalytic tradition, this question has also been discussed: Does the Bible’s language and narrative of guilt correspond to Psychoanalytic narrative and terms? In the Old Testament, guilt is dealt with more fully in Psalms. In the New Testament Paul is the Chief figure that describes and explains guilt. The Basic structure of guilt narrative is the same in the Old Testament, New Testament and Psychoanalysis, but throughout history differentiated words and terms have reinforced writer’ explanatory competence and they have reached a more explicit language.           The aim of this research was to introduce the psyche of traumatized women and the literature that illustrate it. We should accept that "literature is the important and main basis of art that can influence the other artistic fields". As Helen Cixous believes; the female writer in the form of  "ecriture   feminine "or women writing; it means that a written text must be in a different style and with the political power which can use the female desire and break patriarchal thought. Women in the literary texts of Margaret Atwood expressed the story of their trauma, pains and the psychological problems; they can write about their self-knowledge towards the society that live in. They would like to find a reader to listen to their story and by the help of narrating; they can reduce the traumatized feeling and give a lesson of insight to the readers. The protagonists can relate past, present and the future time to each other, so that in the present time they can learn a lesson from the past faults and trauma in order to make succeeding lessons for future. So at the end we the same as Atwood's participants must accept that life does not mean relaxation, but it must be full of hope, motivation and reformation. Manuscript profile

Ermiya is one of the subjective and complicated Holy defense novels. In this novel, the main character (Ermiya) is in conflict with the post war world and the condition of the city after his returning from war front. This is the point that can be analyzed according to Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalysis theory. Lacan divided the psyche of man to Imaginary order and Symbolic order. Imaginary order is related to the first year of lifetime and Symbolic order is about the time when the child begin to learn language and his/her contact with symbols and social norms.Ermiya is like people who can’t deal with contents of Symbolic order and they prefer to be in Imaginary order and unconsciousness. This research aims to study Ermiya’s character according to Jacques Lacan’s theory. Experiencing psychosis, stream of consciousness and sectional traveling between Imaginary order and Symbolic order are the outcomes of not being compatible with Symbolic order. Manuscript profile

The works of children's literature in poetry and prose like the literary works of adults can be studied and studied from various aspects. Children's stories in narrative are usually simple and easy to understand, but the infrastructure can be full of psychological and interpretable points in the field of psychology. Children's literature is a good platform for indirect discussion of psychological issues; Because the subconscious addresses the child and prepares him to face the outside world by substituting positive and negative psychological issues. Psychological critique is one of the branches that can provide many clues to understand and solve the problems of a work, along with other methods of critique. in this article first, an introduction about the position of psychological critique and the presentation of experts' opinions in this regard were presented, then the scientific background of research and research has been done. The following is a summary of the story of the oldoz and the crows; And after explaining Freud, Jung, and Adler, we have separately critiqued the psychological analysis of the characters in the story. The results of this study show that Freud's views such as defense mechanisms, Jung archetypes and concepts of the inferiority complex are crystallized in the characters of the story according to Adler's theory. This critique suggests that there is a capacity for psychological critique in the depths of children's stories, especially in the story in question, and that this type of critique can be used to understand the depths of their personalities. The geographical and climatic environment of each region is important factors in shaping the beliefs and myths of that region. In supernatural and mystical insights, all creatures are living beings and have a strong sense of perception. In the works of southern storytellers, elements of nature as surviving characters of ancient myths play a role in the spatialization and advancement of the story. Palm is one of these natural elements which plays a major role in some of these stories. The present study explores a descriptive-analytical approach to these works: "I am not a tiger wrapped up to its fullest" by Mohammad Reza Safdari; "The praise of Thirst" by Ali Salehi; From Shahla Parvin Rouh, "The Devil's Stones" by Menirou Ravanipour and "The Leaf of No Trees" by Samad Taheri. It has also been attempted to provide anecdotal evidence of the function of these traits from mythological texts by listing the anthropogenic traits of the palm in these stories. The result of this study is to understand the different anthropomorphisms of the palm tree in the literature and beliefs of the people of the South. Palm in these stories has unique characteristics that make this tree more like humans than plants. Manuscript profile

Binary oppositions are considered as one of the main components of the critique of modern texts; but they can also be used in the critique of Persian classical texts. In Ilāhī-Nāmeh, Attār Neishapouri suggests that on the path of the Truth, nobody can reach the perfection without binary oppositions. Thus, he faces the sālek (holy traveler) with much binary oppositions from the beginning to the end of suluk (spiritual journey). Attār believes that the only method for converting oppositions to unity is to use the force of "transformation" and "equation". Most of the oppositions employed by Attār are linked to "transformation"; in this way, the opposites change their nature and unite with each other. In this "transformation", he seeks a kind of "transcendence" that needs contemplation and going beyond the corporal world. By using descriptive and analytic method, in the present article, the attempt is made to explain Attār's Divine thoughts based on concepts of "binary oppositions", "transformation" and "equation". This research does not seek to find the opposite terms and to classify the binary oppositions quantitatively, but it attempts to find the concepts that beyond apparent oppositions may conduce to the perfection of man.  Manuscript profile

Myths depict interpretations of ancient man about phenomena. Myth is a kind of discourse that its deep-structure is fact and story is its sub-structure. Based on their ideology and the socio-historical conditions of their time, contemporary writers endeavor to revive myths. The revival of myth in the literary works is a result of socio-philosophical visions of their writers. To express and envision their views, the contemporary writers use symbolic names and archetypes. In her stories, Mahsa Mohebali, Iranian contemporary writer and novelist, has used myths for narrative, semantic and feminist purposes. By using the analytic-descriptive method and based on psychoanalysis theories, the present article tries to review ways and reasons of recreating the mythical themes in her works. One of Mohebali's works, The Grey Spell (Nefrine Khakestari) is a novel that its characterizations, themes and atmospheres can only be explained with a mythological approach. In the novel, the writer describes the contemporary Tehran space and conditions of a psychiatric patient; she addresses the subject of psychoanalysis and by these ways, the structure of her novel is expressed by the central character of the story. She uses myths and archetypes to search for identity and to defend the rights of women. Manuscript profile

Freud's psychoanalytic theory has deeply influenced the literary works and works of art, and gave rise to psychological criticism. Personal unconscious and structure of mind theories are the most eminent results of Freudian outlook. According to these theories, the structure of mind has a tripartite structure: ego, id and super ego. Each one reflects a dimension of the human mind. In the story of Siyāvash, as narrated in Shahnameh, the prominent characters are the representative of the tripartite; Sudabeh as the symbol of id, Siyāvash as the super ego and Kavus as the ego. Action and reaction each one of them explains the structure of human mind. In the same way, and from another perspective, Afrasiab, king of Turan, can be seen as symbol of ego, Garsivaz, the brother of Afrasiab, as the symbol of id and Siyāvash as the symbol of super ego. Based on such an analysis, the present article reconsiders the story of Siyāvash. Manuscript profile

Herman Hesse is a writer who is regarded a symbol for young generation and certainly other generations of the twenties in Germany.  Some important themes in his works are the criticism of the bourgeois world and attempt to reveal the different aspect of man’s character, the study of the structure of dream and the individual’s transformation in the heart of the modern world with the help of fictional narrative.  One can add to this list, his admiration for the Goethe’s style, also the Romanticism of the 19th century and his passion for social sciences under the influence of the famous analyst of myths and legends Carl Gustave Jung. In this article, the role of woman and Hesse’s view towards woman which is one of his central themes is analyzed.  His approach with regard to the outstanding psychology of the characters he has portrayed necessitates drawing upon introversion and confrontation with feelings and emotions.  What is of prime importance in this novel, is the second by second experiences of “self” in the path of self-realization.
