The vibration analysis of an electric gearbox with helical gear and the causes of severe vibrations in this system is discussed in the present research. Improper installation and maintenance of these systems can make serious problems for the performance of a car. Collecting data is performed by “ Viber X5 ” data vibration analyzer and the analysis of it is done by the “ SpectraPro “ software. With the help of the results of the analysis, the destruction of parts and some damages are prevented and it leads to save costs of repairing. Vibration analysis with the aim of ensuring to find the flaws in the system will help to prevent sudden shutdown of the system and the costs of it. This makes a tendency to use vibration analysis methods and technological advances in this direction increased significantly in recent years.

In this paper the influence of various properties of materials on the natural frequencies and vibration mode shapes in a differential casing for the heavy car is studied. Mechanical properties play an important role in determining the output frequencies and vibrational deformations. For this purpose, the differential model was designed in software CATIA and entered in simulation software ABAQUS which has the high ability to estimate the dynamic behavior of different systems. Materials such as gray cast iron with high vibration damping, steel with high density and rigidity, aluminum and magnesium alloys with low density were evaluated for the differential casing. The results showed that the natural frequency of the first five vibrational modes differ in the materials and by choosing gray cast iron can prevent a resonance phenomenon. Another part of the numerical simulation is dedicated to the effect of connection type between two parts of differential on the dynamic behavior. For this purpose, one of the screws for connecting the two parts of the differential was not secure, a defect that may be caused by an operator when repairs. For one bolt loosened condition natural frequency decreases about 3 to 4 percent. This can increase the chance of a resonance effect.

Nowadays, accurate prediction of micro structure vibration and dynamic behavior have been considered by many researchers. In this work, vibration analysis and control of cantilever micro-beam integrated with piezoelectric actuator and sensor layers considering surface effects have been investigated. Hamilton’s principle and Energy method are used to derive governing partial differential equation of the motion. GDQM is applied to discretize the PDE into the ordinary differential equation. The effects of system geometry, Young’s modules of surface stress, surface residual stress and surface mass density on natural frequency are analyzed. Also, the effect of linear optimal controller design on dynamic the response time and piezoelectric control voltage has been evaluated. Results indicate that respond on model increases and vibration amplitude decreases faster.

The base of diagnosing the possible defects of a machine is comparing the frequency ‎spectra of the vibrations at different points with the existing reference spectra. Due to the ‎needless stoping of machine for investigation of its various parts, use of this ‎troubleshooting method is affordable; Also, regarding to progress of possible ‎defectes, the machine can be rapaired in any required times. In this study , using ‎Neural Network (MLP and FNN), firstly common defects in rotating machines were created ‎separately, then the produced vibrational frequency were measured by ADASH 4400 ‎analyzer. Introducing four vibrational characteristics including angular misalignment, ‎clearance, failure and unbalance of bearing as input data of artificial neural network ,the ‎results were compared to the reference frequency signals. The results show that neural ‎networks MLP and FNN increase the defects detection ability by 73% and 78%, ‎respectively. So, FNN method is proposed for useful life prediction and detection of rotating ‎parts.‎

Nowadays, managers try to use scientific methods to increase the quality of goods, and simultaneously reduce their final prices as well. Condition Monitoring (CM) is one of the methods which has been popular among industrial managers in recent years and of course it has provided many benefits for organizations. Analyzing the vibrations is one of the condition monitoring methods, and by using it we can avoid rework, and reduce the company's costs considerably. To show this effect for efficiency improvement of production process, Mazandaran Wood and Paper Industries has been selected as a case study, and the vibration analysis, one method of the conditions monitoring has been applied. In this research, we have shown how to prevent stoppages and damages of the equipment by in-time awareness and by imposing preventive repairs. Secondly, considerable conservation in consumption of parts and manpower will be achieved for repairing and maintenance of equipment in order to guide the organization toward efficiency improvement.

This paper deals with the problem of the instability regions of a free-free uniform Bernoulli beam consisting of two concentrated masses at the two free ends under the follower and transversal forces as a model for a space structure. The follower force is the model for the propulsion force and the transversal force is the controller force. The main aim of this study is to analyze the effects of the concentrated masses on the beam instability. It is determined that the transverse and rotary inertia of the concentrated masses cause a change in the critical follower force. This paper also offers an approximation method as a design tool to find the optimal masses at the two tips using an artificial neural network (ANN) and genetic algorithm (GA). The results show that an increase in the follower and transversal forces leads to an increase of the vibrational motion of the beam which is not desirable for any control system and hence it must be removed by proper approaches.

دیسکهای سوراخدار در بخشهای مختلف صنعت کاربردهای فروان دارند. با ساخت این دیسکها از جنس مواد مدرج تابعی، قابلیت های بیشتری از آنها میتوان بهدست آورد. تحلیل ارتعاشی این نوع دیسک میتواند در ساخت هرچه کارآمدتر آن به ما کمک کند. در این مقاله، مدلسازی و بررسی ارتعاشات آزاد دیسک از جنس مواد مدرج تابعی در راستای ضخامت، با نرمافزار آباکوس انجام شدهاست. از آنجا که در نرمافزار آباکوس در زمینه طراحی و تحلیل مواد مدرج تابعی المان خاصی تعریف نشده است، مدل سازی این مواد در این نرم افزار انجام شدهاست. به منظور صحتسنجی، نتایج تحلیل آباکوس با نتایج موجود در مقالات مقایسه شده است. نتایج بهدست آمده نشان میدهد که با تعریف لایههای بیشتر در راستای تغییرات خواص، نتایج بهدستآمده به جوابهای دقیق نزدیکتر میشود.
