Therefore, the purpose of thisdissertation is to identify, select and localize the desired indicators in relation to environmentalsustainability and on the other hand its relationship with quality of life indicators in District 2 ofTehran.Material and Methodology: The questionnaires were completed by two groups (experts and citizens) to determine the indicators and then analyzed and evaluated the research options were ranked using VIKOR and LINMAP methods. The options considered in this study are 9 areas in District 2 of TehranFindings: The results show that The results showed alpha coefficient was calculated to measure the internal stability of the questionnaires. According to the results, alpha is 0.954 based on the completed questionnaire in the environmental sustainability assessment section by expert and based on the supplementary questionnaires of citizens is 0.875 and this indicates a go degree of internal reliability of the questionnairesis.Discussion and Conclusion: The results show that out of 6 criteria considered in the environmental sustainability assessment section, physical criterion with So that zone 8 with a score of 1has the lowest amount of environmental sustainability and zone 2 with a score of 0 has the highest amount of environmental sustainability. Also, the ranking results of the 9 districts of Region 2 using the Linamp method show that District 2 has the highest rank in terms of quality of life indicators and District 8 has the lowest quality in terms of quality of life indicators. Due to neglection towards the role of old centers in promoting the social, economic and urban identity, the amount of urban issues and problems significantly increased and become more sever. The main purpose of this paper is to assess the relationship between sustainability components and evaluate the impact of these components on the sustainability of urban nabourhoods in the old geography of Tehran. Method: The Sanglag district was selected as the case study. Research data was obtained through field survey. The research method was descriptive-analytic and data analysis was conducted with the use of Structural Equation Modeling and Smart Pls3 software. Findings: The findings of this study indicate that the average of sustainability component and also the contribution of each component in detrmining the sustainability of Sanglag district are different. The appropriateness and access components, has the least contribution in detrmining the sustainability of this district. Discussion and Conclusion: Contemporary changes, both in terms of content and procedure, have hade a significant effect on sustainability of each district. In old neighborhoods, the main focus is on the performance and macro issue consideration, and with the organic, integrated, closed, centralized, and dense context there is weaker homogeneous consistency with minimum open spaces and green spaces. In Sanglae, we can modify and renovate the district with a proper management and increase the utilization and efficiency of the neighborhood. Manuscript profile -

In fact, according to the inherent complexity of cities in terms of environmental issues, identification of the main factors in achieving sustainability is necessary. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the indicators of environmental instability in Ahvaz metropolis with a focus on indicators of water, soil and noise pollutions. Method: This study is a descriptive-analytical one using an applied method. In this context, after explaining the concept of urban sustainability and urban instability and identifying relevant criteria, according to the study, the conversion of criteria to quantitative indicators was done and the index and sub-index in AHP model were prioritized. To perform spatial analysis of the data, GIS software was used and the most important explanatory factors to assess the environmental indicators of instability in Ahvaz, with emphasis on the index of water, soil and noise pollutions were studied. Findings: Findings showed that considering the water pollution index, five area with the impact of 0.327 had the the highest weight value among the urban areas while six areas with the impact of 0.033 had the lowest value than other areas with water pollution in Karun river. In terms of soil pollution, four areas with effect coefficient of 0.331 had the the highest rate of soil pollution, and eight regions with effect coefficient of 0.024 had the least pollution. In terms of noise pollution, the region with effect coefficient of 0.336 had the highest weight value among other regions, while eight regions with effect coefficient of 0.02 had the least pollution. Discussion and Conclusion: Results showed that Ahvaz is in unstable environmental conditions and its current environmental condition is significantly far away from sustainability criteria. With this interpretations of situation, awareness about ecological sustainability of urban areas and understanding of the situation could play an important role in improving the planning and optimal allocation of resources to improve people's welfare Urban sustainability, Environmental instability, Water pollution, Soil pollution, Noise pollution, Ahvaz Metropolis Manuscript profile -

This city has been designed as a sample city with maximum attention to the nature and environment, and one of the significant points in the process of planning, designing and constructing, it has been the speed of action. Material and Methodology: This research has introduced the formation of this green city by examining library resources and studying the relevant documents as well as reviewing related sites. Results: The city of Putrajaya was formed by considering the three important concepts as Garden-City, Green City and Smart City and the general approaches to its planning and designing include Planning for Neighborhood Spaces, Reviewing and Reviving the Traditional Identity of the City, the Supporting City, emphasizing on the Public Transportation, paying Attention to Urban Image and Urban Identity, Urban Ecology Approach, Environmental Architecture and Urban Sustainability Management. Discussion and Conclusion: In fact, the process of formation of this city has been a symbol of power and progress of Malaysia and it shows the fact that theoretical ideas and concepts such as garden-city, green city and smart city have the ability to be implemented and have not remained just as an idea. Finally, the development of Putrajaya city has significantly affected various social, political, cultural and tourism aspects of Malaysia, and the combination of these factors has made this city a unique example in the new millennium that can be a model for repetition in other cities and countries with similar conditions. But despite the development of existing infrastructure and the emergence of newtechnologies at the service of urban water sustainability goals, during 20 years this change remains too slow. Now well accepted that traditional urban water management is not appropriate for paying current and future sustainability issues and fundamental changes in the technical structure and management of urban water systems and using new theories to explain urban water planning for sustainable development. In this regard, a relatively new concept in the field of urban water management the last two decades of its creation is proposed under water sensitive cities. this concept provides ecological solutions to achieve sustainability in urban development and cities require fundamental changes in management, social and technical than conventional methods. In this way, present research covers water sensitive cities and in the form of Criteria, targets and criteria for water sensitive urban design, water sensitive urban planning and eventually was given water sensitive city. And finally, to enhance the experience of using this pattern, this pattern has been studied in Melbourne and Moonee Valley. Manuscript profile -

Sustainable development has been the main slogan in the third millennium and the new paradigm in the most popular theoretical and scientific literature concerning urban development and planning. The objective of this study was to analyze and categorize the factors affecting urban sustainability in Ardebil city from the citizens' points of view as the main beneficiaries of urban planning program. The study was descriptive-analytical research and the method of collecting information was documentary and survey (Field Finder). Population were the citizens of Ardabil city. The sample size included 384 members based on Cochran formula, while there was a two stage cluster sampling method. The 26 items of the research questionnaire were reduced to five factors using exploratory factor analysis. All the five factors explain 68.059 percent of total variance. The first factor (environment design) plays the most important role with specific value 5.636 (21.676% of variance) in setting all effective variance factors on urban sustainability. Then the social factor with specific value 3.707 (14.259% of variance), management factor with specific value 3.695 (14.212% of variance) economic-infrastructural factor with specific value 475/2 (518/9% of variance) environmental factor with specific value 183.2 (8.3394 percent variance) were located at second, third, fourth, and fifth level of factors affecting urban sustainability.
