Semiotics is to study sign systems within the social life. Its task is to search for the hidden meanings of all sign systems, both linguistic and non-linguistic. This research tries to study the most important codes of nationalist poems of  Badawi Jabal through a descriptive-analytical approach and in the light of semiotic analysis, because they have meanings and significations that seem useful in studying the text of the poem, recognizing the thoughts and opinions of the poet. The poet was able to show his nationalist poetry effectively by using semiotic codes that give a special beauty to his poetry. Aesthetic codes such as metaphor, simile, irony and exaggeration, time and place, and personality and Qur'anic psychology are among the most important things that the poet uses. Their repetition in Badawi's poetry is not arbitrary, but is due to his intellectual stance towards life and existence. By using them, he creates signs that deepen the reader's feeling towards the codes. It is worth noting that this is a brief and selective review, because it is not possible to review a large number of these samples. One of the most important results of the research is that by using these cases, the poet intends to express concepts such as love for the homeland, pride in the past heritage, pains of the Arab nation, return to the homeland, problems of the land, emotions and spiritual experiences. Through the creation of literary images, he has given dynamism to his poetry and freed them from the shackles of the explicit meanings of words in symbolic meanings. Manuscript profile

2 - The Significations of Motif in the Poems of Ali Jafar al – Allaq: A Case Study of Motifs of Grass and Song and Wind

Motif is a structural phenomenon that carries the aesthetic and expressive functions in contemporary Arab poetry and is considered the key to accessing the poetic world and its intellectual system. Ali Jafar al–Allaq has his own poetic land, and he is very keen to be distinguished and unique from his peers in the generation of the sixties (of the twentieth century). Motif is an essential component of building poetry in the relationship and its presence, on the one hand, expressing the poet's insistence on a particular idea, and on the other hand, it acts as an attacking device in which the reader is able to capture the semantics of the text. This research took it upon himself to tackle the subject of motifs by relying on the descriptive-analytical method and by selecting motifs of 'grass, wind, and songs' from the poetic lexicon and studying them under the shades of semiotics, whose tasks include studying the system of signs. What emerged from this research is that these motifs are an insignificant part of the poetic composition, and some of them have mythological and epistemic roots, and are the poet's means of creating poetic decor. Such as: the herb or to build the paradox between the past and the present, and the herb is the herb of immortal Gilgamesh, to which the poet depends to embody the destabilization of Arab reality or the fading of Arab will. The death of the song and the wind are frequent motifs in the poet's poetry, which carry different indications. The poet used the motif of the song in the framework of the so-called correspondence between the senses to embody the Arab place of death, loss and dispersion. And the wind is a symbol of a yearning for life and a yearning for sweet memories in his childhood. Manuscript profile

(Based on the theory of conceptual metaphors by George Likoff and Mark Johnson)Contemporary achievements of linguistics indicate that language, in addition to conveying referential themes, reflects cognitive themes and induces mental themes. Based on this, cognitive semantists have conducted studies in this field and have proposed theories that can be referred to the theory of conceptual metaphors of George Lycoff and Mark Johnson. The present article has been written with the aim of comparatively examining the conceptual metaphor of direction in the first three volumes of Mahmoud Dolatabadi's key novel and the four novels (Al-Bayda, Al-Askari Al-Aswad, Al-Haram and Al-Aib) by Yusuf Idris. The research method is comparative and data collection, which is based on the American school in the comparison and analysis of data. Analysis of 125 examples of conceptual metaphors of direction in the form of 23 mapping names, which were extracted from the aforementioned works of two writers, concluded that the similarities between conceptual metaphors based on human understanding of "direction" between the two languages are far greater than There are differences. On the other hand, the differences between the two writers indicate the influence of culture on the construction of conceptual metaphors. According to Likoff and Johnson's views on the foundations of directional conceptual metaphors, frequencies indicate that in the works of the two writers, conceptualizations are based on top-down spatial orientations, mostly on a physical basis, and in other directions, conceptualizations. Also on a physical basis; Manuscript profile

The fifth century (lunar calendar) is considered significant in the matters of historical aspects. It is the  time in which dependent governments rose and little by little tried to free themselves from Arab governance. But it meant that governance of Turks and Mongols were arriving. At that unsteady time that the political Iranian governments were facing, the historians were obliged to hold another responsibility and among them, Abolfazl Bayhaqi rose with his famous history so-called History of Beihaghi and he is at the top ranking.      Presence of a body such as Risalat (Commission) and Clerical office implies that the social and administrative layers. Bayhaqi not only tried to use Arabic language just for public and conscious aspects of usage but because of his language environment he had to use Arabic language in all language levels, inevitably. Study of History of Bayhaqi by itself and also regarding such social and cultural circumstances in brief are all the factors clearing this issue. But beside this unconscious use which is considered as that era’s language suitability, Bayhaqi himself who was a great Arabic knower and well-grounded clerk has used the proverbs, poems and narrations at their place.  Manuscript profile

The investigation of literary orations ,their link with  criticism, and the development of fields such as modern epistemology and linguistics has drawn the attention of many researchers since the middle of the twentieth century. These orations have the most pedagogical impacts on people since they apply figurative languages such as simile, metaphor, symbol, hymn, and rhetorical devices arousing the reader's aesthetic taste and desire of inner satisfaction without any strict logical argumentation. The present paper studies the literary orations of Maghamate Hamedani through a reader-oriented approach. Manuscript profile
