Then the participants filled HEXACO-PI (Ashton & Lee, 2001) and type C questionnaires (Raha & Solomon, 1997). This study is a corelational one, and the data were analyzed by Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression. SPSS17 software was used to analyze the data. The findings showed that there were significantly negative correlations between Extroversion and Openness to experience dimensions with type C (p<0.01). Also, among HEXACO personality dimensions, Emotionality and Extroversion dimensions could predict type C. Manuscript profile

Population growth and the increased trend in citizenship over the past century have challenged both industrialized and developing nations. With regard to the role of social involvement in the human empowerment, enhancement of productivity, reduction of the city problems and realization of development, the problems arising from lack of participation or limited participation in the social activities of the cities in Iran, which is moving from a traditional to a modern society, are considered a major issue in city management. The present article is based on a study conducted in 2010 under the title of “A study of the Factors Affecting the Rate of Social and Cultural Participation of Payam - e- nour  university Girl Students”, in which  the variables  such  as educational level, sense of social dependence, financial problems, and membership in social and cultural organizations were analyzed as the most influential factors in the social and cultural participation. The study was carried out by survey and documentary approaches. Pretested questionnaires were used for data collection. Then, on the basis of the measurement scales of the variables, the data were codified and processed through the use of Spss software. Descriptive statistics (percent, frequency, mean, and median) and the inferential approach utilizing T- test  and Pearson’s  model  were used in analyzing the data. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between the sense of social dependence, financial problems and membership in social and cultural organizations. However, the effect of educational level on the girl students’ social and cultural participation cannot always be confirmed and may lead to a reduction in their participation. The results indicated that alleviating financial problems has caused a considerable increase in the students’ participation. Also, the increase in their sense of social dependence and membership in social organizations have contributed to the students participation. The increase in educational level didn’t cause a significant increase in their participation. Therefore, trying to qualify and change their attitudes toward participation, diminishing their financial problems, and increasing their social dependence acted as a prerequisite for enhancing their participation.                                                                                                                      Manuscript profile

The impact of architecture on the behavior and activities of the involvers in a special space and the users of that environment is an obvious and unavoidable matter. Architectural knowledge has tried to develop appropriate spaces to provide maximum pleasure and joy and with the help of the relevant principles in this area (physical characteristics, such as space, light, color, arrangement, etc.) has tried to create a top environment for its users. In this study, referring to the architectural design of kitchens in Tabriz Aseman residential complex, the reasons for the effects of the special design on a certain class of users (women) has been reviewed and characteristics like fatigue or enjoyment of working in the kitchen have been studied. This research in general addresses the connection between the interior design of the kitchen and fatigue level in women and, in particular, it deals with part of these characteristics, i.e., physical factors of this process. The main goal is explaining the why and how of such impact in the architectural location of a kitchen and the research method is based on an analytical-descriptive process. 210 questionnaires were randomly distributed among the women of four residential blocks in Tabriz Aseman condominium and in this way the information and data of the research were collected. The data were analyzed by using SPSS software. By taking advantage of the necessary physical characteristics along with good furniture and understanding the needs of the interior design, particularly the needs of the lady of the house are among the factors affecting the impact of the interior design of kitchens on the mental and behavioral response of this group.
