This study was aimed to investigate the impact of the spiritual skills training on decreasing aggression among secondary school female students. The statistical population of the study included all secondary school female students in Tehran during the academic year of 2016-2017. Thirty female students with the highest scores in the aggression test were selected as the study sample from the schools in Districts 1 and 2 of Tehran, and assigned into two experimental and control groups (each group of 15 subjects). The research method was pretest-posttest with control group. The Buss and Perry (1992) Aggression Questionnaire was used in two stages of pre-test and post-test in order to collect data. The intervention group received spiritual training for 10 sessions of 2 hours twice a week, while the control group did not receive any intervention. Data were analyzed by one-way covariance analysis (ANCOVA). The results showed that after applying the treatment, the aggression level was reduced in the experimental group and the decrease was statistically significant. According to the study results, it is recommended that this type of training should be considered as an appropriate intervention to reduce aggression and increase mental health of the students.
