Both groups answered to the questionnaires. The results showed that there were significant differences between personality traits (Extroversion, Neuroticism, Flexibility, Pleasure, Conscientiousness) and coping styles (Excitement oriented and Problem oriented) in divorced women under the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee coverage and the normal women. In other words, the mean of divorced women in comparison with normal women had a lower mean in terms of extraversion, flexibility and pleasantness and conscientiousness. In contrast, the mean of neuroticism had a higher score and in terms of coping style, normal women were more likely to have more excitement-oriented coping styles.
