The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of communication skills training on adaptation and resiliency of young couples in the city of Bashrooye. The statistical population of the study was the couples referred to the Etrat Education-Cultural Centers, Amir­-alMomenin Center and Boshrooyeh city Health Center. Acording to convenient sampling 24 couples attending in the project as study sample were assigned by random equally in to experimental and control group. The methods of research was a quasi-experimental with the pre-test, post-test and control group. Bells Adjustment Questionnaire (1961) and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (2003) (CRI-RISC) were used as data gathering tools. After pre-test, experiment group was exposed to communication skills training for 8 sessions of 60 minutes each. At the end of intervention posttest was applied to this group. Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) was applied for data analyzing. Compared to the control group, results of the study showed a significant increase in adaptability and resiliency of experiment group. According to the results, communication skills training can be considered as effective way for social adaptability and resiliency of young couples and to be used in training and consultation centers.
