Management is a decision-making process and decision-making needs information. Among the diverse types of information which managers need for decision-making , the financial data have a special place because so many decisions have direct or indirect Financial consequences that affect the financial position of the company . Thus, the accounting discussions and techniques can be used as an important tool to help the economic unit's management in making decisions related to the supplying, allocating, and controlling the economical resources. Promoting the knowledge and capability of applying this tool is in itself a very important issue in training the managers. The main subject of this research is the study of the effects of accounting upon the manager's decisions and our main purpose is to study the way of these trainings and their compatibility with their needs for obviating the informational needs. The conclusions  show that in the above–said firms there is comprehensive use for the discussions of financial issues in the analysis and review of the completed cost and the benefit and budgeting , but there is limited use for other accounting issues. In this research, we want to identify, based on the opinions of managers who have taken the training course, the factors and the obstacles of applying these discussions in the companies under study and give suitable solutions with regard to our conclusions, especially in accounting matters. In the present circumstances and from the economic, political, and cultural perspectives, governments' objectives cannot be attained without the participation and cooperation of all the people. The shaping of non-governmental organizations or “third parties” is rooted in the need for cooperation between the state and society. Without augmenting the government's size, these organizations strive to solicit the help of the people, the government and the private sector in order to pave the way for social growth and development. The present article seeks to introduce the nature, concept, and types of non-governmental organizations, while delineating their role in development. Moreover, the effective management of these organizations is described by the author. Manuscript profile

The results of economic experiments in the world show that if any country wants to be a pioneer in economy and not to lag behind in the competition, it has to have experienced, skillful, motivated, innovative and creative manpower. We wouldn’t expect any improvement in productivity if we couldn’t meet welfare and living needs of the personnel and if we couldn’t attain a competency- oriented system, equity and justice through comprehensive performance evaluation system. The term "quality of work life" has repeatedly been used as a criterion of human experience quality at work. Managers increasingly expect that the productivity of an organization should create facilities which maintain employees' quality of work life. The concept of quality of work life indicates the importance of people at work and the respect for them.                                                                           In this paper the relationship between productivity and quality of work life has been evaluated. These two terms are part of the seven overall performance measurement criteria for any organization that needs to assess and measure. Initially, some definitions have been presented about productivity and the quality of work life, and then the correlation of them has been evaluated using a case study on a manufacturing firm. The results of this study show the meaningful relation between the overall productivity, labor productivity and the quality of work life in the firm under study and demonstrate the amount of correlation between them. In today’s changing context, understanding the conditions and predicting the main processes are the only ways through which the organizations can improve their status among the competitors. Such a thing can be achieved solely by managers with high levels of strategic thinking. The purpose of the present research is supporting organizations in appointing managers with high levels of strategic thinking by employing multiple intelligences theory as a leading theory in considering individual differences so that these managers would definitely improve the organization status among their competitors. The research hypothesis was as follows: There is a significant relationship between strategic thinking and verbal/linguistic, logical/mathematical, bodily/kinesthetic, visual/spatial, musical/harmonic, intrapersonal, and interpersonal intelligences.  The findings of the study showed a significant relationship between visual/spatial, logical/mathematical, interpersonal intelligences and strategic thinking.   Manuscript profile

This paper presents an algorithmic approach to solve the problem of excessive travel in C.N.C. machine tools by introducing an efficient management method to compute the shortest path between the given sets of points (origin and destination) in R2 (x, y) plane. When a work piece is located (as an obstacle) between sets of points, it is proved that the optimum path between these points would be formed by sequences of connected straight line segments whose intermediate end points are vertices of an appropriate polygonal (closed control barrier). The case of one origin, one destination, and a set of barriers is considered in this research. This method is computationally efficient.   Manuscript profile

The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of initial size on the duration of small and medium manufacturing enterprises in Iran through 1361-1385. The Industry & Mine Ministry database has been used for data gathering and the data are analyzed using TDA software. The Kaplan-Meier Product-Limit estimator has been used for exploratory data analysis and the semi-parametric Cox regression model is used to test the hypotheses. The results of this study support the positive and meaningful relationship between initial size and survival. Furthermoer, in this research the survival functions of small and medium firms were compared and we concluded that survival probability of medium firms (with 10 to 99 employees) is greater than that of  small firms (with lower than 10 employees). Implementing a comprehensive approach in organizational performance evaluation and assessment is necessary because in order to gain correct results, attention to all of these aspects is important. The necessity of organizational evaluation is quite obvious and for this reason the main hy photesis of this research is: by determining the performance evaluation criteria and designing a suitable model, it is possible to evaluate, compare, and improve the performance of productional organizations. In this regard, the relevant questionnaires were designed after interviewing and consulting with managers, experts and management professors concerning the important critera and factors affecting the performance of productional companies. Finally, the evaluation criteria, and the importance rate of each criterion were specified. In summary, this research aims to design a model and collect and place each company's data in the model for calculating the final value of the company's performance and the gap between the company's value and the optimal value.  Finally, a simple and applicable model with eight factors of performance evaluation in six factories during two periods was tested and assessed. The result showed that in the first period, the performance of each factory was evaluated and according to the result of the analysis, suitable suggestions were presented. In conclusion, this survey came up with the result that the improvement of each factory's   performance in the future depenls on the application of the proposed model and its items. The main objective of this research is to investigate the causality relationship between FDI, Export, and GDP for 11 selected countries of MENA in the period of 1995-2005. The model of this research has been estimated by using panel causality test and VAR approach.  The main findings of this study indicate that there is unilateral causality between FDI, Export, GDP from FDI to Export and FDI to GDP. Moreover, the results of estimation show that there is unilateral causality between GDP and Export from GDP to Export. However, there is no causality between GDP and Export from Export to GDP.
