Management Model for Improvement of Organizational Performance

Abstract :
Implementing a comprehensive approach in organizational performance evaluation and assessment is necessary because in order to gain correct results, attention to all of these aspects is important. The necessity of organizational evaluation is quite obvious and for this reason the main hy photesis of this research is: by determining the performance evaluation criteria and designing a suitable model, it is possible to evaluate, compare, and improve the performance of productional organizations. In this regard, the relevant questionnaires were designed after interviewing and consulting with managers, experts and management professors concerning the important critera and factors affecting the performance of productional companies. Finally, the evaluation criteria, and the importance rate of each criterion were specified. In summary, this research aims to design a model and collect and place each company's data in the model for calculating the final value of the company's performance and the gap between the company's value and the optimal value. Finally, a simple and applicable model with eight factors of performance evaluation in six factories during two periods was tested and assessed. The result showed that in the first period, the performance of each factory was evaluated and according to the result of the analysis, suitable suggestions were presented. In conclusion, this survey came up with the result that the improvement of each factory's performance in the future depenls on the application of the proposed model and its items.
