    The Editorial Office of the "Trends in Phytochemical Research" journal follows all the recommended circulars and principal cases of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) as is available at the following website:

    The submitted papers are also tracked via reliable "Plagiarism Checker" like "iThenticate plagiarism checker" to make sure their originality. The other objective of our journal is to publish the highest quality articles and disseminate to all readers through our "Open Access" mode. The published articles are not recommended for commercial use.

    • Publication Cost: No publication charges are requested for each submitted, refereed or published article.
    • Impact: A good impact views from all over countries in the world.
    • A Highly Reputed Editorial Board: We are pleased to inform you that some of the most famous scientists working in different branches of phytochemistry have been appointed as the permanent and advisory board of this journal handling the review process.
    • Publication Time: within 20-35 days of acceptance. The TPR journal publishes the most important research in the field and distributes it to wide range of readers, learners, research fellows.
    • The Reviewing Process: All the submitted articles will be reviewed by Double-Blind Peer Review

      Important: The reviewing process for each of the submitted articles is a Double-Blind Peer Review with the general definition as follows:

      Double-Blind Peer Review: Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers. There are at least three or more reviewers for the total number of articles in each issue. 

     Important and/or Challenging Points

    • The Trends in Phytochemical Research (TPR) journal does not take responsibility and/or takes part in eventual lawsuits related to the published articles. All the contents of this journal should be used only for non-commercial usage.
    • The veracity of the information and of the bibliographic citations is of exclusive responsibility of the authors.

    Contents licensing

    • Repository Policy

      The TPR journal permits the authors to deposit all versions of their work without embargo according to Sherpa Romeo policies in an institutional or other repository of their choice. However, modifications or commercial uses are not allowed when using the relevant contents.

    • As an "Open Access" journal, all the published review, original research articles, short communications, guest editorial papers in “Trends in Phytochemical Research (TPR)” journal are available free of charge for all researchers all over the world to be downloaded and used for scientific purposes, citation and getting enough information. This journal permits the authors and researchers to use its contents according to the Creative Common Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) international user license. Accordingly, neither modifications nor commercial uses are permitted when using its contents. In fact, TPR supports "Open Access" and all of its accepted manuscripts are required to attach a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0  license.
    • The corresponding author of each submitted article to our journal, Trends in Phytochemical Research (TPR), should clearly state that all the authors have carefully read the contents of the submitted paper and agreed to take part in the manuscript. It should be also mentioned that after the acceptance of the submitted article no change will be made in the authors of the manuscript. Of course, the corresponding author should sign the prepared galley proof of the accepted paper prior to its online publication in the official website of the TPR journal.

    Author Responsibilities

    • The research being reported should have been conducted in an ethical and responsible manner and should comply with all relevant legislation.
    • Researchers should present their results clearly, honestly, and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation. Researchers should strive to describe their methods clearly and unambiguously so that their findings can be confirmed by others. They should also adhere to publication requirements that submitted work is original, is not plagiarized, and has not been published elsewhere.
    • Authors should take collective responsibility for submitted and published work.
    • The authorship of research publications should accurately reflect individuals’ contributions to the work and its reporting.The authors whose names have been enlisted in the submitted article should complete and subsequently submit an "Authorship Statement Form" when submitting their original research article to the TPR journal. All the news about the current status, final decision made concerning the submitted article is only sent to the corresponding author of the under processing paper. The corresponding author should inform the other authors about the final decision or anything else related to the submitted article. If the submitted article requires revision, all authors should make the required corrections and or modifications on the final revision of their manuscript.
    • The journal tries to do its best to make sure the originality of each submitted article through tracking the submitted article with some of the most important plagiarism software.  
    • The authors should introduce the name of five professional reviewers during the submission of their articles. The Editor-in-Chief decides whether to send the submitted article to the suggested reviewers or not according to their specialty in the topic of research.
    • The following statement is essential for each submitted article about the conflicts of interest. Accordingly, the following phrase should be considered at the end of each submitted article to the TPR journal:

    Conflict of interest

    The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest.

              In other words, conflicts of interest should be clearly disclosed. 

    • According to the general ethical circulars, the authors of each article are expected to acknowledge the name of the scientists, researchers and even organization who have helped them in finalizing the research project.
    • The names of investigators, funding sources, or organizations along with the relevant project number should be considered at the acknowledgment part of each submitted article.

    Editor Roles and Responsibilities

    • Editors are accountable and should take responsibility for everything they publish.
    • Editors of the TPR journal do not the right to limit, add or remove the number of authors.
    • Editors should make fair and unbiased decisions independent from commercial consideration and ensure a fair and appropriate peer review process.
    • Editors should adopt editorial policies that encourage maximum transparency and complete, honest reporting.
    • Editors should guard the integrity of the published record by issuing corrections and retractions when needed and pursuing suspected or alleged research and publication misconduct.
    • Editors should pursue reviewer and editorial misconduct.
    • Editors should critically assess the ethical conduct of studies in humans and animals.
    • Peer reviewers and authors should be told what is expected of them.
    • Editors should have appropriate policies in place for handling editorial conflicts of interest.

    Reviewers Responsibilities

    Reviewer Responsibilities Toward Authors

    • Providing written, unbiased feedback in a timely manner on the scholarly merits and the scientific value of the work, together with the documented basis for the reviewer’s opinion.
    • Indicating whether the writing is clear, concise, and relevant and rating the work’s composition, scientific accuracy, originality, and interest to the journal’s readers.
    • Avoiding personal comments or criticism.
    • Maintaining the confidentiality of the review process: not sharing, discussing with third parties, or disclosing information from the reviewed paper.

    Reviewer responsibilities Toward Editors

    • Notifying the editor immediately if unable to review in a timely manner and providing the names of potential other reviewers.
    • Alerting the editor about any potential personal or financial conflict of interest and declining to review when a possibility of a conflict exists.
    • Complying with the editor’s written instructions on the journal’s expectations for the scope, content, and quality of the review.
    • Providing a thoughtful, fair, constructive, and informative critique of the submitted work, which may include supplementary material provided to the journal by the author.
    • Determining scientific merit, originality, and scope of the work; indicating ways to improve it; and recommending acceptance or rejection using whatever rating scale the editor deems most useful.
    • Noting any ethical concerns, such as any violation of accepted norms of ethical treatment of animal or human subjects or substantial similarity between the reviewed manuscript and any published paper or any manuscript concurrently submitted to another journal which may be known to the reviewer.

    General Responsibilities of the Publisher

    • The Editor-in-Chief of "Trends in Phytochemical Research (TPR)" is responsible for editorial content and managing content-related processes.
    • It is the publisher’s responsibility to promptly release corrections or retractions after the discovery of a significant error or scientific inaccuracy in a published work.
    • It is the publisher’s responsibility to handle the cases of misconduct and ensure that publication ethics of the journal are obeyed.
