  The center of Amman (Downtown) is one of the most marvelous sites in Jordan as it represents a wide range of heritage through time and space. However, the Downtown suffers from severe disorders in terms of negative urban development due to the cross cutting cultures between the past and present. Despite of its historical and cultural richness, several factors affected the architectural uniformity of the area. The successive cultural effect is clearly marked in the downtown of Amman. Political factors, such as the arrival of the Iraqi and Syrian refugees, significantly controlled the urban planning development in a heterogeneous way created poor and overcrowded areas of immigrants due to many residential abusive areas. Moreover, the lack of innovation and maintenance of the entire downtown area with no changes through time in addition to the lack of awareness made the downtown unable to response to various emergencies. Natural hazards threats for examples earthquakes and floods are considered as a big challenge influencing the urban, economic and cultural development process, particularly due its location in a valley surrounded by seven hills. The current study focuses on finding solutions to overcome the mufti-folds of risk surrounding the area. Recommendations are put forwards for decision makers to maintain the Amman Downtown form further degradation. پرونده مقاله

  4 - ضربگرها و کاربرد آنها در مهندسی زلزله

  در این مقاله به مطالعه ضربگرها روی جبرهای باناخ پرداخته و در این راستا نتایج جدیدی چون ارتباط میانگین پذیری و منظم آرنز بودن جبر ضربگرها را با جبر باناخ اولیه بیان می­کنیم. همچنین ارتباط میان ضربگرهای جردن و ضربگرها را بیان و تلاش می­شود که با ارائه یک مثال به ت چکیده کامل

  إن افتتاح الروایة بوابة للولوج إلى عالم الروایة، فذلک قد یجعل بعض الروائیین ینسحبون عن کتابة الروایة، حیث إن التمهید الروائی یعتبر من أصعب الشؤون السردیة. فهو یجذب القارئ إلى عالم الروایة إذا کان أخّاذاً ومثیراً. إذن فللمشهد الأول للروایة دور کبیر فی تشجیع القارئ وتواصل چکیده کامل

  إن افتتاح الروایة بوابة للولوج إلى عالم الروایة، فذلک قد یجعل بعض الروائیین ینسحبون عن کتابة الروایة، حیث إن التمهید الروائی یعتبر من أصعب الشؤون السردیة. فهو یجذب القارئ إلى عالم الروایة إذا کان أخّاذاً ومثیراً. إذن فللمشهد الأول للروایة دور کبیر فی تشجیع القارئ وتواصله مع النص؛ لإنه جسر واصل بین السارد والمتلقی. فتطمح هذه الدراسة إلى تسلیط الضوء على الافتتاح السردی حیث تقوم بدراسته على أساس المشهد الأول والتنقیب عن التقنیات التی وظفها السارد لتمهیدها. فرغم أن دراسة الافتتاح السردی أخذت حیزاً واسعاً من الدراسات الحدیثة عن الروایة ولکن هذا المضمار یتطلب جهداً أکثر للکشف عن أهمیة الافتتاح فی الروایة والتکریس على مکوناته. فالافتتاح السردی فی "روایة عندما تشیخ الذئاب" یتمتع بطاقات کامنة تهیب بنا إلى الترکیز علیه. فتکمن أهمیة هذه الدراسة فی أنها تحاول التطرق إلى الافتتاح الروائی ومکوناته فی هذه الروایة ثم الکشف عن مدى ارتباطه بکل الروایة ککیان متشابک وتشکیل سردی من المنظور البنیوی. إذن فتعنی الدراسة بالمشهد الأول من الافتتاح وتشدّ الانتباه إلى العلاقة بینه وبین الروایة بأسلوب توصیفی تارة ونقدی تحلیلی تارة أخرى. فتخلص الدراسة إلى أن السارد فی هذه الروایة استخدم التقنیات التی تسیطر على الروایة الحدیثة ویجعل الشخصیات فی ذروة الاهتمام لتمثیل عالم ملیئ بالمفارقات ووظف تقنیة تعدد الأصوات للابتعاد عن الرتابة فی الروایة التقلیدیة. پرونده مقاله

  Because of the significance of the textbooks in the teaching and learning processes, it is essential to revise them permanently. This study investigated the readability level of the 12th- grade English textbooks and also examined if the reading texts used in Action Pack 12 were suitable linguistically for the 12th -grade students. This study adopted the qualitative descriptive design by using the Fry Graph to calculate the readability level. The researchers chose randomly 20 texts out of 36 texts as a sample of the study. The results revealed that 80% out of the 20 texts were under the level of the 12th-grade students in Jordan. Also, the results indicated that 15 % of the texts were invalid and only 5% of the texts were within the 12th-grade students’ level. The findings also indicated that Action Pack 12 was suitable linguistically for 12th-grade students. Several recommendations are put forth. پرونده مقاله

To reach this goal, we prove the following theorem:Let $n > 1$ be an integer and let $\mathcal{R}$ be an $n!$-torsion free ring with the identity element $1$.Suppose that there exist two additive mappings $d,\delta:R\to R$ such that$$d(x^n) =\Sigma^n_{j=1}x^{n-j}d(x)x^{j-1}+\Sigma^{n-2}_{k=0} \Sigma^{n-2-k}_{i=0}x^k\delta(x)x^i\delta(x)x^{n-2-k-i}$$is fulfilled for all $x\in \mathcal{R}$. If $\delta(1) = 0$, then $d$ is a Jordan $\delta$-double derivation.   Matrix functions are used in many areas of linear algebra and arise in numerical applications in science and engineering. In this paper, we introduce an effective approach for determining matrix function f(A)=g(q(A)) of a square matrix A, where q is a polynomial function from a degree of m and also function g can be a transcendental function. Computing a matrix function f(A) will be time- consuming and difficult if m is large. We propose a new technique which is based on the minimal polynomial and characteristic polynomial of the given matrix A, which causes, to reduce the degree of polynomial function significantly. The new approach has been tested on several problems to show the efficiency of the presented method. Finally, the application of this method in state space and matrix quantum mechanics is highlighted. پرونده مقاله
