Relationship obsessive-compulsive disorder (ROCD) is a specific subtype of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in which symptoms are focused on intimate and/or close relationships one has with her/his spouse or partner. The study aimed to investigate the mediating role of ego strength in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and ROCD symptoms. The population comprised all students at the University of Tehran and the sample group consisted of 430 students (324 female, 106 male) who administered the Ego Strength Scale (ESS; Besharat, 2017), Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS; Carleton et al. 2007), and Relationship Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Inventory (ROCI; Doron et al., 2012). The hypothesized mediation model provided fit to the data, The correlation between intolerance of uncertainty and ROCD symptoms was significantly positive, and between ego strength and ROCD symptoms was significantly negative. The study findings suggest that ego strength mediated the association between intolerance of uncertainty and ROCD symptoms. According to the results of this study, it can be concluded that intolerance of uncertainty and ego strength can predict the severity of ROCD symptoms. Considering these variables may be important in the processes of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of ROCD symptoms. Manuscript profile

The main goal of the present study was to determine the relationship between mentalization and grief experience during the Covid-19 pandemic. The moderator role of age and sex was investigated in the relationship between mentalization and the grief experience. For this purpose, 200 Iranian adolescent, adult and middle-aged men and women who had lost a family member or acquaintance during the epidemic period were selected using the available sampling method and completed the grief experience questionnaire (Mehdipour et al., 2009) and the reflective functioning questionnaire (Fonagy et al., 2016). Data analysis was done by calculating Pearson correlation and regression analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between RFQc and the grief experience. There was a significant negative relationship between RFQu and the grief experience. The relationship between RFQc and the grief experience, and RFQu and the grief experience didn’t depend on age and sex. According to the results of the research, mentalization during the grief experience can act as a protective factor. It is recommended to use mentalization in designing appropriate interveining approaches during the grief experience. Manuscript profile

This study examined the mediating effect of psychological resilience on the relationship between cognitive appraisal processes and with health behaviors and emotional well-being among male and female university students. In a sample consisting of 500 university students (250 male and 250 female), the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, the Stress Appraisal Measure, Adolescent Resilience Scale, Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile and the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule were administered. Results showed that the completely mediated model of psychological resilience on the relationship between cognitive appraisal processes and coping strategies with health behaviors and emotional well-being had good fit to data. Also, the results of the gender specificity of structural relations showed that structural relations were equivalent for both groups (male and female) based on structural covariances, structural weights and measurement weights. In sum, these finding show that the part of available variance in health behaviors and emotional well-being in the context of prediction these behavioral and emotional models by cognitive appraisals and cognitive coping strategies, accounted for male and female university students' psychological resilience. The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating role of life management strategies in the relationship between generativity-stagnation with subjective well-being in the middle age period. The research framework was correlation type and the statistical population of the research consisted of all middle-aged citizens of Kermanshah 200 individuals (127 men and 73 women) were selected by voluntary sampling method and responded to four instruments of subjective well-being (Keyes, Shmotkin & Ryff, 2002), Loyola generativity scale) McAdams & de St Aubin, 1992), stagnation scale (Bradley,1997), and life management Strategies scale (Baltes et al.,1999). For data analysis, we used path analysis. The results showed generativity- stagnation has a relationship with subjective well-being through life management strategies. those creators who use life management strategies will enjoy more subjective well-being in middle age. Also, people who experience stagnation in middle age use less management strategies, which reduces subjective well-being. As a result, considering the importance of subjective well-being in the middle-aged, psychologists can take a step towards increasing the quality of this period by relying on the two variables of generativist- stagnation and life management strategies and trying to improve and modify them in the middle-aged and performing interventions and treatments in the society Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to investigate the perceived stress of divorced adolescent girls. The research method was phe- nomenological qualitative. The study population consisted of 17 girls under 18 years of age who were selected based on purposive sampling for semi-structured interviews and continued until data collection was saturated. The Colaizzi method was used to analyze the data. Data analysis led to the identification of 3 main themes and 53 sub-themes. The results showed that the sources of stress, positive and negative coping strategies, and the consequences of high stress in girls as the three main themes have a wide range. Therefore, divorce, while disrupting the psychological-emotional balance of family members, causes stress about the future lives of people. In such a way that negative strategies and consequences can overshadow their future and endanger their physical and mental health. According to the results of the research, the need for supportive counseling interventions for this spectrum is felt Manuscript profile

the present study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the Interpersonal Mindfulness Scale. The method of descriptive-correlation research. 321 people were investigated by the available sampling method. Participants completed the Interpersonal Mindfulness Scale (Pratcher et al., 2019), Basic Empathy Scale (Farrington, 2006), and Kessler& Psychological Distress Scale (Kessler et al., 2002 to examine convergent and divergent validity. For data analysis, the internal consistency method was used using Cronbach's alpha method, and for construct validity, confirmatory factor analysis was used. The results of factor analysis showed that the Cronbach& alpha coefficient for the total score of the scale was 0.87 and for the sub-components of presence, awareness of self and others, non-judgmental acceptance and non-reactivity were 0.69, 0.83, 0.69 and 0.72, respectively. The interpersonal mindfulness scale showed a significant positive correlation with the basic empathy scale (0.429) and a negative correlation with psychological distress (-0.356). Based on the obtained results, interpersonal mindfulness can have positive relationship consequences in interpersonal interactions. In general, the Iranian version of the interpersonal mindfulness scale showed a 4-factor structure and good reliability and validity, and it can be used in various research. Manuscript profile
