In recent years, in system dynamics society has increased attention to qualitative approaches. One method of extracting models of qualitative system dynamics has been many used is a Group Model Building. In this method, clients are involved in the modeling process. Based on Participants mental models are extracted key structures and latent variables in the system. In this regard, compare the group models with reference models from the literature can be a way to test and evaluate a model. And provide new insights. In this paper we evaluate and compare models of group modeling sessions extracted from the project "Designing Aviation Technology Park" with the reference model derived from the literature review, by using the distance ratio approach of three levels, including the elements, the causal loops and the full model level. As became clear from the results of this approach the MDR = 6.84 which indicates that the model as the reference model and the group models were similar. EDR and LDR values indicate between model elements and the loops level were similar. In conclusion we can say that the model is a valid model and the resulting models are consistent with other studies in the literature. Manuscript profile

This research was designed to achieve two objectives: a) designing a scale of teachers' instructional strategies and b) Validating the scale. To this end, Delphi method and content analysis were used to design the scale and a within group plan, using descriptive – survey method, was used to validate the scale. This study included two samples: for the first purpose of the study 43 teachers, through convenient sampling, were selected and for the second purpose 354 teachers, through stratified random multistage cluster sampling were chosen. To collect the data, two researcher – made instruments were employed. The first questionnaire included an open-ended question in which the teachers were required to list their instructional strategies in their class. The second questionnaire was a 29 – item scale in which the items were chosen from among the teachers` instructional strategies through content analysis and exploratory factor analysis. The results of the exploratory factor analysis showed that all of the teachers` instructional strategies can be classified in seven categories including strategies of learner – centered (cognitive activation), group – based education, focusing and motivating, providing an optimal environment, direct teaching (teacher – centered), controlling the educational process, and preparation. Teachers can employ various instructional strategies to provide appropriate learning environment for students and directly affect the quality of educational process. Manuscript profile

The aim of this research was to make a valid and reliable questionnaire for assessing the information literacy of distance learners. The statistical population of it included all students that enrolled in all branches of Payam-e-Noor University of Hamedan province. The total number of those was 28530 people. For sampling of subjects, a cluster sampling method was used. On the basis of this method, 387 subjects were selected based on Kerejsi and Morgan table. To gather data, a research-made questionnaire was used. This questionnaire was made based on the Likert scale (very high, high, moderate, low, and very low). The components of the instrument (questionnaire) included 5 standard competency of ACRL. The questionnaire is composed of 30 items in the form of self-report statements. To make the items suitable, discriminative power method was used, and to validate the items, content, formal and construct validity (convergent validity and factor analysis) were used. Based on the convergent validity, the correlation coefficient between this questionnaire and Asghrnia’s Questionnaire (2009) was 0/77. Also, results of explanatory factor analysis on the items of questionnaire led to extraction of 6 factors with a total cumulative variance explained nearly 66%. For making items reliable, the Cronbach’s alpha was used (a=0/94). Results show that the research-made scale (information literacy questionnaire) is a suitable and a reliable instrument for assessing the information literacy of distance learners. Moreover, other results of the research shows that there are a significant and positive correlation between learners’ level of information literacy skills and their age. Manuscript profile

The present research was conducted with the aim of validating the problem-oriented curriculum model in the elementary school mathematics course. This research was exploratory (qualitative-quantitative) in terms of mixed nature, practical purpose, the method of collecting cross-sectional survey data. Content analysis and ISM wrer used in the qualitative part and partial least squares in the quantitative part. The participants of the qualitative part, experts and the statistical community in the quantitative part were also elementary school teachers in the academic year 2014-2016. According to the principle of theoretical saturation, the sample size of the qualitative part was 19 people who were selected by the purposeful sampling method, and the quantitative part, 355 people were estimated and selected by the simple random sampling method according to Cochran's formula. The research tools were semi-structured interviews in the qualitative part and researcher-made questionnaires in the quantitative part. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis and partial least squares methods. The results of the qualitative part of presenting the model with 7 main target categories in three cognitive, attitudinal and skill levels, content, method, evaluation and curriculum were a total of 46 subcategories. Data from the quantitative section (model fitting) were analyzed using structural equation models and partial least squares. The results showed the model has validity and appropriate fit in both internal and external. Manuscript profile

In order to validate the Attitudes towards Smoking Scale Chamran University and Islamic Azad University, Arsenjan branch, participated in this study. Data were indicative of a high level of Internal Consistency of the ASS. All the items of the scale were significantly correlated with the total score of Principal Components Analysis (Varimax Rotation) resulted in !" # $ %& " the variance. This research showed that for measuring people’s attitudes toward smoking, researchers can rely on ASS.           Manuscript profile
