This study aims to determine the structural equation modeling of sexual function based onalexithymia and behavioral avoidance/ activation systems and personality traits in women. Sample population was all married women living in Esfahan which 226 of them were selected by convenience sampling method and responded to NEO Five-Factor Inventory (McCrae & Costa ،1989), the Arizona’ sexual experience questionnaire (1993), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (Bagby, Parker& Taylor ,1986), behavioral avoidance/activation system scale (carver& white,1994). Data was done by using Pearson correlation and confirmatory factor analysis. The result showed that there was a significant negative relationship between alexithymia, behavioral avoidance with sexual function(P<0.001). There was a significant positive relationship between behavioral activation with sexual function(P<0.001).Neuroticism due to behavioral inhibition, alexithymia had a negative impact on sexual function (P<0.001). Extroversion and agreeableness due to behavioral activation had a positive impact on sexual function(P<0.001).Conceptual model of sexual function based on alexithymia, behavioral avoidance/ activation systems and personality traits was fit(CFI=0.97). The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder and trans-diagnostic factors with sexual function disorder in women. For this purpose, in a descriptive-correlational study, 231 women referred to health centers in Mashhad in 2016 were selected by available convenience sampling method. The participants completed Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item Scale (GAD-7) (2006), Cognitive Avoidance Questionnaire (2008), Intolerance Of Uncertainty Scale (1994), Metacognition Questionnaire (2004), Acceptance And Action Questionnaire-II (2011), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (2006) and Female Sexual Function Index (2000). Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder and sexual dysfunction in women. Also, there was a significant relationship between trans-diagnostic factors and sexual dysfunction in women. Finally, the results indicated that symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder and related factors of trans-diagnostic (intolerance of uncertainty and maladaptive adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies) predicted the symptoms of sexual dysfunction in women. The goal of this research was to determinethe effectiveness of psychotherapy basedon acceptance and commitment on sexual function, sexual guilt feeling, sexual self-consciousness, and sexual assertiveness among women with sexual dysfunction. The research method was semi-experimental with pre-test, post-test, follow-up and control group. The statistical population consisted of all 25-45 year-old married women in the city of Sonqor, who referred to the clinic of psychology and counseling of Avysta in the spring of the 1396 year. The sample consisted of 30 women who were selected by convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups (each group of 15). First, all subjects responded to Sexual Function (Rosen & et al, 2000), Sexual Guilt Feeling (Mosher, 1998), Sexual Self-Consciousness (Van Lankveld& et al, 2008) and Sexual Assertiveness (Hurlbert, 1991)Questionnaires. Subsequently, acceptance and commitment based psychotherapy was performed for the experimental group in 10 sessions, However, no intervention was used for the control group. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and covariance analysis were used. The acceptance and commitment based psychotherapy was effective in improving sexual function, sexual guilt feeling, sexual self-consciousness and sexual assertiveness of women (P<0.001). Treatment based on acceptance and commitment was considered to be effective and this treatment could be used as an effective interventions for improving sexual function, sexual guilt feeling, sexual self-consciousness, and sexual assertiveness in women with sexual dysfunction. Background and Aim: Achieving a healthy society depends on the health of families, which is also related to having normal mental health conditions and good communication Between the couples. Marital infidelity is one of the most important factors threatening the performance, stability and continuity of marital relationships. Marital infidelity refers to any sexual or emotional relationship beyond the framework of a committed relationship between two spouses. It is the subject of marital infidelity that causes mood disorders such as depression, post-traumatic stress and dysfunction of couples, which has caused the concern about family mental health and its impact on the growth and performance of children. Method: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of emotion-based couple therapy on the depressive symptoms and sexual function in women affected by infidelity. The present study was a quasi-experimental study in which a pretest-posttest design with a control group was assessed by baseline after intervention and 3-month follow-up. A total of 105 women affected by infidelity referred to counseling centers and psychological service clinics of Bushehr Welfare Office in the period from May to September in 1398, taking into account the inclusion criteria, 30 of those who wished to participate in the study (With written consent) were selected and randomly assigned to the experimental group (emotion-based therapy (n = 15 and control group (n = 15)). The sexual function scale was completed and measured in three stages: The sessions of the mentioned treatments, i.e. the emotion-oriented couple therapy (8 sessions of 2.5 hours) was done in groups. Hypotheses about the effectiveness of research were tested using analysis of variance. Results: The results of the present study showed that the mean of depression and sexual function in the pre-test stage was not significantly different between the two groups, which indicates the homogeneity of the two groups in the pre-test stage, but there was a significant difference between the groups in the post-test and follow-up stages. It could indicate the effectiveness of the intervention on the mentioned variables and the stability of effectiveness in the follow-up phase (P <0.001). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the mentioned treatment can be used as a psychological intervention in reducing depression and improving the sexual function of affected women. An extramarital affair is a traumatic event that can jeopardize a couple's married life. Therefore, the present study was performed to provide a causal modeling of the vulnerability of extramarital relationships based on emotional schemas mediated by sexual function. The statistical population in this study was all married women in Tabriz in 1399 who had been married for about 1-10 years. To select a sample from the mentioned population, a sample of at least 384 people was selected by purposive sampling method. Research data were collected using questionnaires on vulnerability of extramarital relationships, female sexual function index and emotional schemas. All analyzes were performed using Smart PLS software version 3. Findings showed that the path coefficient and t-statistic related to the effect of "emotional schemas" on "vulnerability of extramarital relationships" are equal to 0.025 and 1.531, respectively. Because the value of t is less than 1.96; therefore, at a significance level of 0.05, emotional schema has no direct effect on the vulnerability of extramarital relationships. It is also observed that the path coefficient and t-statistic related to the effect of "sexual function" on "vulnerability of extramarital affairs" are -0.249 and 8.240, respectivelyAs the absolute value of t is greater than 2.58; therefore, at a significance level of 0.01, sexual function has a direct effect on the vulnerability of extramarital affairs. Undoubtedly, recognizing and examining the roots of extramarital affairs and planning to prevent and reduce and eliminate the underlying factors, will guide the society in order to improve the level of health, maintain social order and balance. Diabetes is a common chronic disease. Not accepting the disease, be sensitive to fluctuations in blood glucose, to need insulin injections, restrictions on dietary and physical activity levels, to need accurate and continuous care of their self, and also the risk of serious complications, can lead to psychological problems in diabetics. Research shows that sexual dysfunction is very common in women with diabetes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of emotion focused group therapy on improving emotional expressiveness and sexual functioning of women with type 2 diabetes. For this purpose, during the semi-experimental design with pretest, post-test and control group, 24 women with type 2 diabetes were selected from one of health centers in Mashhad through judgmental sampling and randomly placed in two experimental and control groups. The subjects were evaluated for emotional expressiveness and sexual functioning before and after the intervention. Eight sessions of Emotion-focused therapy were used for the experimental group. The results of analysis of Covariance show that Emotion-focused therapy was effective in increasing the emotional expressiveness and sexual functioning of women with type 2 diabetes. Emotion-focused therapy can improve emotional expressiveness and sexual functioning of women with type 2 diabetes through validation of emotion and its reframing Manuscript profile
