Abstract :
The aim of this research is to standardize the index of women's sexual function in women referring to psychological clinics with complaints of sexual problems. The present research was carried out using a descriptive and exploratory method. The statistical sample size was 355 people and the reliability and validity of the index was checked. validity studies were conducted based on the classical test theory and the item response theory for each factor and the overall index. In the first stage, the sampling adequacy index was performed to factor analysis, then exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was performed, and 6 factors were extracted and each of the components was named. Cronbach's alpha test and composite reliability, theta and omega and local coefficient based on item respone theory were used for the validity of the scale, the results of both were confirmed. To check the characteristics of the questions based on the item response theory, the model of graded answers was used, and each of the questions was examined and confirmed from the perspective of the difficulty factor and the discrimination factor. it can be concluded that the scale of women's sexual function has appropriate validity and reliability in women referring to psychological clinics with complaints of sexual problems.
