  The understanding of narratives is examined and analyzed through a theoretical science known as narratology, and what has emerged from the structuralist foundations of narratology is known as combining narratives. The structuralist idioms and key narratological issues of narratologists' ideas that have been established in this subject will be examined in this study, as well as examining the story of My Bird by Fariba Wafi utilizing the content analysis approach and the information acquired from it. Wafi is one of the female writers who, in the context of female narration in the story of My Bird, has been able to embrace the audience with this story and build a narrative story based on the components addressed in this study termed characterization, focus, and narrative time. The evolution of the characters in the story can be noticed in its evolutionary process by studying these components in the topic of characterization in the realm of direct and indirect description, action, speech, appearance, character strength through analogy, and environment. And the discussion of travel and migration in the external and interior features of the minds of the male and female characters of the story leads to their psychological structure in the discussion of the narrative chain and in the discussion of centralization, Individuals got focalized in discussions of psychological components, and the frequent use of the verb in narrative time discussions became a generalizable result for underdeveloped characters.   Mysticism in one of the main pillars of persian literature and mystical literature is one of its basic branches; hence poets, whether those who were literally mystic or those who were pretending to mysticism, have used mystical terms in their poems. The main feature of Indian style is the illustration. One of the palpable and accessible element in public life of the most people that poet can do illustration with it, is pottery. Hazin-e-Lahiji by using potteries and tying it with mystical terms has created dynamic imagery and critical- social contents in order to engourage the audionces to turn to love, truth, reproach the ascetic to quit the hypocrisy, discord and finally enlighten the people that shows the hight importance of pottery in reflecting the mysticism of Hakim Lahiji.   هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی تاثیر متن بر روی یادگیری و یاداوری اصطلاحات توسط 60 تن از زبان اموزان ایرانی می باشد. به این منظور محققین شرکت کنندگان را به دو گروه ازمایشی و یک گروه کنترل تقسیم کردند: گروه ازمایشی اول (  گروه متن گسترده) گروه ازمایشی دوم ( گروه متن محدود) وگروه کنترل( گروه بدون متن) نامیده شدند . ابتدا یک تست اصطلاحات 50 سوالی با استفاده از معیار سنجش لغت گرفته شده از (وشه و |پریبخت 1993) تهیه گردیده و جهت پاسخگویی به زبان اموزان داده شد. براساس پاسخ شرکت کنندگان 30 اصطلاح که برای انها نا اشنا بود انتخاب  و به عنوان اصطلاحات هدف تعیین گردید. سپس جهت تدریس این اصطلاحات محققین به روشهای زیر اقدام کردند: در گروه ازمایشی اول این اصطلاحات در داخل متن گسترده از طریق گوش دادن به داستانهای کوتاه تدریس شدند. در گروه ازمایشی دوم اصطلاحات هدف در داخل متون محدود توسط جملات کوتاه تدریس گردید. اما در گروه کنترل اصطلاحات مذکور خارج از متن بصورت دادن تعرف و معنای انها تدریس گردیدند. تحلیل نتایج پس ازمون  انی و پس ازمون تاخیری  نشان داد که تدریس اصطلاحات در متن گسترده تاثیر معنی داری بر یادگیری و به خاطر سپاری اصطلاحات توسط زبان اموزان دارد.  Manuscript profile

  پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین راهکارهای ترجمه اصطلاحات به زبان انگلیسی در متن ادبی براساس مدل بیکر (1992) انجام شده است. همچنین نشان داده شده که آیا استراتژی های بیکر در سرتا سر ترجمه انگلیسی بطور یکسان بکار رفته اند. مهمتر از همه ، کاستی های ترجمه اصطلاحات ارائه شده است. نمونه انتخاب شده در این پژوهش، کتاب " نخل خرما" به عنوان متن منبع ازمرادی کرمانی، و ترجمه انگلیسی به عنوان متن مقصد توسط کارولین کروسکلی بوده است. داده ها به صورت توصیفی و کیفی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند و نتایج در قالب جدول و شکل ارائه شدند. پس از تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها ، برخی از کاستی های مهم در ترجمه انگلیسی به عنوان ترجمه بی معنی ، اصطلاحات ترجمه نشده ، اضافه کردن و حذف برخی از کلمات از زبان مقصد مشاهده شده است. علاوه بر این ، تمام استراتژی های اصطلاحات توسط مترجم اعمال شده است، اما هیچ یک از آنها به طور مساوی در ترجمه انگلیسی بکار نرفته اند. بر اساس نتایج بدست آمده ، استراتژی های "ترجمه بازگویی" در بسیاری موارد و مکررا توسط مترجم مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. این استراتژی بیشتر در روند ترجمه اصطلاحات در مواردی مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد که مترجم نتواند معادل اصطلاحات منبع را پیدا کند. کمترین استراتژی های بکار رفته مربوط به "استفاده از اصطلاح با معنی و شکل مشابه" است که  مترجم تلاش می کند تا یک اصطلاح را در زبان مقصد پیدا کند که معادل آن با زبان مبدا هم از نظر معنا و هم از نظر واژگان است. همانطور که بیکر (1992) اظهار می دارد ، این استراتژی به سختی یافت می شود ، زیرا زبانها در نحوه شناسایی یک مفهوم واحد متفاوت هستند.   With the development of technology and due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, most of the ELT courses in Iran have shifted to online learning since March 2020. Therefore, this study aimed at determining the effectiveness of four online technological tools of teaching idioms. To this aim, 106 pre-intermediate learners of English took part in the study. A language proficiency test was administered to ensure the homogeneity of the sample. A total number of 80 students were selected as the final participants who were randomly assigned to four experimental groups: In group A, concept maps of the same idioms were drawn with the help of an online mind-map maker. Group B were presented with online flashcards which included definitions and examples of idioms. Group C received etymological elaboration from an online dictionary of the origins of idioms, and group D listened to online audio stories of all the idioms. Each group of the participants received the treatment for 12 sessions and took part in the pretest, posttest, and delayed posttest. The results of a one-way ANOVA indicated that the most gains were achieved by story-telling. The findings imply implications for teachers, syllabus designers, and materials developers in using appropriate instructional methods for teaching idioms. Manuscript profile

  اصطلاحات خصوصیات درونی هر زبانی هستند که به طور مکرر در زبان گفتاری و نوشتاری استفاده می شوند. با وجود این، مطالعات اندکی در زمینه تعیین بهترین استراتژی ها در یادگیری اصطلاحات توسط زبان آموزان ایرانی انجام شده است. هدف این مطالعه، بررسی تاثیر استفاده ازمهارت های تولیدی و منفعل در حالتهای مشارکتی و غیر مشارکتی بر یادگیری اصطلاحات توسط زبان آموزان ایرانی است. بدین منظور، 166 زبان آموز ایرانی بطور تصادفی به 5 گروه تقسیم بندی شدند: آموزش مشارکتی منفعل، آموزش غیر مشارکتی منفعل، آموزش مشارکتی تولیدی، آموزش غیر مشارکتی تولیدی و گروه کنترل. نتایج آزمون های لغات نشان داد که هر چهار گروه آزمایشی بهتر ار گروه کنترل درتقویت یادگیری اصطلاحات در آزمونهای فوری و با تاخیر بودند، اما آموزش مشارکتی تولیدی موثرتر از آموزش مشارکتی منفعل بود. بعلاوه، آموزش مشارکتی منفعل منجر به نتایج بهتری از نوع غیرمشارکتی خود شد. با توجه به ماهیت چالش برانگیز یادگیری اصطلاحات زبان دوم و اهمیت آن در توسعه دانش زبان آموزان زبان انگلیسی، پیامدهای این مطالعه برای معلمان، دانش آموزان و طراحان درسی مورد بحث و بررسی قرار گرفته است.   اصطلاح به مجموعه ای از کلمات گفته می شود که معنایی متفاوت از معنای کلی کلمات دارند. هنگامی که اینگونه اصطلاحات در آثار ادبی از جمله رمان ها بکار می روند، ترجمه اصطلاحات به تدریج سخت تر و طاقت فرسا تر می گردد. تلاش تحقیق حاضر یافتن رایج ترین و پر کاربرد ترین استراتژی های بکار رفته شده در ترجمه رمان  "پیرمرد و دریا"، تحلیل و بررسی آنها و در گام بعدی، بررسی هنجار اولیه توری می باشد.  بدین منظور سه ترجمه فارسی رمان مذکور از محمدتقی فرامرزی، نازی عظیما و نجف دریا بندری، تعداد 60 اصطلاح کاربردی رمان و همچنین ترجمه های فارسی آنها برای این پژوهش توسط محقق انتخاب گردیدند. بر اساس نتایج حاصله، پر کاربرد ترین استراتژی بکار گرفته شده توسط محمدتقی فرامرزی،  ترجمه از طریق "تفسیر به وسیله کلمات مرتبط" بوده که نشان دهنده تمایل وی به استفاده بیشتر از هنجار مقبولیت نسبت به هنجار کفایت بوده که استراتژی فوق بیشترین استراتژی و هنجار مورد استفاده توسط نازی عظیما نیز می باشد. طبق تحقیقات انجام شده، استراتژی "تفسیر از طریق کلمات نا مرتبط" بیش از سایر تکنیک ها توسط نجف دریا بندی به کار رفته و بر اساس نتیجه مطالعه حاضر، تمایل دریا بندری به استفاده از هنجار مقبولیت نسبت به هنجار کفایت مشهود می باشد .
