The present experiment was performed to compare the effect of different levels of dietary threonine on performance, carcass characteristics and immune system and blood factors in Japanese quailunder heat stress. For the experiment, 300 one-day-old Japanese quail chicks (Coturnix coturnix japonica) were used in a completely randomized design with six levels of threonine in 6 treatments and 5 replications, each replication containing 10 chicks. The percentages of threonine in the diet of the experimental treatments were: 1) 0.82 %, 2) 0.92 %, 3) 1.02 %, 4) 1.12 %, 5) 1.22 % and 6) 1.32 %. The results showed that the increase in body weight and feed conversion ratio improved significantly in treatments 5 and 6 (p < 0.001). Levels of 1.12 and 1.22% of threonine in the diet had a significant effect on carcass percentage (p < 0.001). There was no significant difference in the weight of lymphatic organs and the titer of antibodies produced against SRBC (sheep red blood cells) in the treatments (p>0.05). Dietary threonine levels had a significant effect on serum uric acid, HDL (high-density lipoprotein) and LDL (low-density lipoprotein) concentrations (p < 0.05). Liver enzyme levels were not significantly different in any of the treatments (p < 0.05). The results showed that increasing threonine in quail diet up to 1.22% can have beneficial effects on performance and improvement of carcass characteristics under heat stress conditions.

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of threonine on microbial carcass with use of 450 numbers of broiler chicks of the Ross 308.The chicks randomly are allocated to five experimental treatments and six replications (15 chicks in each replicates) in a completely randomized design. The experimental diets are including different levels of threonine with five levels of 90, 100, 110, 120 and 130 percent of the recommended Ross 308. The findings of the study shows the effect of experimental diets on microbial carcass in female and male broiler are (p< 0.05) significant. In carcass broiler chicks (different treatment) salmonella are not observed (P> 0/05). In dilution (-1) most level microbial carcass in treatment 90 ٪Threonine became observation, where with treatment 110 ٪threonine are significant (p< 0.05). Dilution (-2) least level microbial carcass in treatment 110 ٪became observation than another treatments are significant (p< 0.05).Too in total content microbial carcass least level relevant on treatment 110 ٪threonine was than another treatments are significant (p< 0.05). Results showed that the increase of threonine up to %10 leads to improvement of broiler chicks.

This research was conducted in order to evaluate the use of lysophospholipid (LPL) supplement on performance, carcass characteristics, blood metabolites and nutrient digestibility in broiler chickens fed with different levels of threonine (Thr) amino acid. In this experiment, 400 male broilers of ROSS 308 strain were used with 8 treatments and 5 repetitions in a period of 35 days. The experiment was conducted in the form of a completely randomized design with a factorial arrangement of 4x2 including two levels of LPL in the diet (0 and 0.1%) and four levels of Thr (100, 105, 110 and 115% of requirement). Experimental diets were used for starter (0 to 10 days), grower (11 to 24 days) and finisher (25 to 35 days) phases. The results of this research showed that during the 35-day period, body weight gain and feed conversion ratio improved in broiler chickens fed with LPL supplement (p < 0.05). However, the use of LPL supplement did not have a significant effect on feed intake in broilers. In addition, feed conversion ratio was significantly higher in broilers fed with 100% Thr level compared to higher amounts of Thr requirements (p < 0.05). The use of levels higher than 100% of Thr requirements and LPL supplement in the diet increased the digestibility of crude protein and crude fat in broiler chickens (p < 0.05). The use of LPL supplement increased the serum concentration glucose (p < 0.05). While the level of 105% Thr in the diet caused a significant decrease in serum triglyceride concentration (P < 0.05). Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that the use of LPL supplement and levels higher than 100% of Thr requirements in the broiler chicken diet increased the growth performance and nutrient digestibility in broiler chickens.
