Becoming familiar with women’s manner and behavior is a collective matter so it needs to understand sociology. Durkheim presents symbolic interaction theory by the appearance of collective conscience and claims that human society is passing the stages of development toward progression and pluralism by physical and ethical density. Identity conflict is individual state but it is reflection of collective life of social and structural values and reflection of collective issues. The aim of conducting this study is the investigation of social values which are reflected in the manner and behavior of women in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh according to the sociological approach of Emile Durkheim that was written with regard to women’s identity, marriage, and hijab. The research method is descriptive-analytical-and comparative in this study. The finding of this research demonstrated that women play different roles in their lives based on their feminine identity in different sections of life in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. Some of the Ferdowsi’s views that are reflected in his poems are in harmony with Durkheim’s view as both of them consider women and men equally. According to social interactionism theory it can be said that social factors such as education, social classes, the amount of using mass media are aligned with Shahnameh ;however, rationalism with early marriage or baseless marriage such as marrying with near relatives has the opposite relationship. Also factors like traditional family, distrust of parental family and gender inequality has direct relationship with early and baseless relationship. Manuscript profile

The objective of this study was to determine the factors relevant to visualization of the women's identity in Ardabil. The research methodology was correlational and the population involved the young women in the city of Ardabil. According to Cochran's formula, 384 subjects were selected based on the systematic random selection method and the questionnaire was used as the tool for data collection. The data was analyzed through the Pearson correlation coefficient and the multivariate regression. Based on the results, the effects of the four variables of self-image, belonging to the universal identity, social values and promotion of fashion were significant on the women's visual identity. The results of multivariate regression indicated that from among the four variables above, the variable of self-image with the regression coefficient 0.456 had the highest regression coefficient and the variable of fashion promotion and fashionism with the coefficient 0.082 had the weakest regression coefficient on the visual identity of women in Ardabil. The multiple correlation coefficient equaled R–0.731, and the coefficient of determination equaled R2–0.535, and the net determination coefficient equaled R-0.531 indicating that the sum of these variables determined the visual identity of the women under study to 53 per cent. Finally, 57 per cent of the variance of their visual identity could be explained by the variables irrelevant to the topic of this study. Manuscript profile

Jurists and legal experts allocate a special role and value to custom and use particular interpretatons to explain its place. Undoubtedly, customs, traditions and norms have gradually turned into social values or paved the ground for their formation. Transformation of the variables related to conventions and customs like life conditions of human beings, development and progress, cultural changes, the emergence of new ideas and the like leads to an increase of its impact on various issues like citizenship rights. The current study seeks to investigate the complementary role of conventions and customs as one of the influential sources of legal codes of society and its relationship with citizenship rights. Conventions and customs, on the one hand, can play a positive role in the formation of citizenship rights and in those cases that law cannot predict all the needs of human beings serve as a vehicle to complement and cover up the deficiencies through providing new interpretations. Sometimes the legislator changes the conventions into a law by a number of modifications. On the other hand, it can also be an obstacle or play a negative role; in such cases, the law steps in and nullifies the convention and rejects it. In other words, as long as the necessity of paying attention to citizenship rights does not turn into a dominant norm, legal mechanisms will face a difficult path ahead. Manuscript profile
