This article deals with the relationship of the sport of soccer with other cultural phenomena and social problems in Iran society. The aim of the researcher is evaluating the role, function and place of soccer sport in the society of Iran. From the methodological point of view, the present research is based on the theoretical analysis of the necessary benefits of the sport of soccer within the Iranian society.  In this way, the two Libraries and document methods have been helpful in gathering data for the present research. The result is that the attraction of the tribes into the national society by soccer and the involvement of the women in the general fields of the society are among the functions of it which give identity. The sport is the place for the emergence and the appearance of behaviors and violence which are not normally allowed. Soccer is inexpensive, simple, exciting and exhilarating for people. From this perspective, soccer has an educational function for teaching the rules of the social life, the ways of adaptation in the society and the traditional boundaries. Manuscript profile

Introduction: Few researches have been carried out on the effect of selenium supplementation on muscle damage in athletes. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of selenium supplementation on serum levels of creatine kinase (CK), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and muscle strength at resting and after a soccer match in young soccer players. Materials and Methods: The research method was quasi-experimental and 19 young soccer players were selected among soccer players in Saghez city and were randomly divided into two experimental (supplementation, n=10) and control (placebo, n=9) groups. The assessments were carried out in three stages (pre-supplementation, post-supplementation, and immediately after the match). General characteristics of subjects, muscle strength, and circulating levels of LDH and CK were measured. The supplementation period was one month (one 200 µg/ml selenium capsule daily). The placebo group also consumed a starch capsule each day. In order to analyze the data, two factor analysis of variance with repeated measures were used at the significant level of P<0.05. Results: Selenium supplementation has no effect on muscle strength (bench-press p=0.790, leg-press p=0.912) and levels of CK (p=0.051) and LDH (p=0.244) at rest and after the soccer match. Conclusion: Selenium supplementation for one month and a daily intake of 200 μg does not appear to have a beneficial or harmful effect on muscle strength and circulating levels of enzymes indicating muscle damage at rest and following a soccer match in young soccer players. More research is needed to reveal various aspects of the issue. Manuscript profile

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate and prioritize the motivations of spectators to participate in soccer matches. In order to increase the presence of spectators in the game, it is necessary to identify the factors and motivations affecting the presence of both psychological and internal factors as well as external and environmental factors, and to measure the effect of each on the presence. The internal aspect is looking for factors such as expectations, satisfaction and motivation to attend, the external aspect is looking for factors such as the history of winning and losing teams, the comfort of the stadium and its characteristics, the weather on the day of the match, the level of spectator income, the existence of entertaining substitutes and so on.Methodology: The statistical population included all Isfahan football spectators and the sample was selected by simple random sampling. 451 spectators completed a 27-item questionnaire on the motivation of the audience of Funk et al. (2004). The validity of the previously confirmed questionnaire, however, was reviewed and confirmed by 15 professors of sports management. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one-sample t-test, Yuman-Whitney test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that all the factors motivating the presence of spectators in football matches (interest in a particular player, escape from everyday problems, excitement of matches, knowledge of football, barter, welfare services, entertainment of matches, support for the team and proxy victory) Significance is higher than the mean level. The results of the Friedman test show that team support ranks better than other factors and is even more important. The interest and support of the team is an important factor that shows that the spectators are interested in their favorite team and come to watch the matches to support their favorite team. Also, the interest shows that there is a high interest among the fans. There is an interest in the team and this interest has been created and expanded over time, now it is the responsibility of sports marketers and team managers to maintain this interest in the team. Conclusion: Due to the fact that spectators come to the stadium with different motivations and to meet different needs, sport managers are advised to study the motivations and needs of spectators and according to that, to plan and hold sports competitions. To increase the presence of spectators. Also, due to the low prioritization of welfare services, it is suggested to provide better facilities and services to spectators to witness the growth and expansion of their presence in the stadiums of the province. Objective: The aim of the present study is "to study the effective sociological factors on the hooliganistic behavior of football spectators in Iran's Premier League". Hooliganism defined the abnormal and tense behaviors that occur before, during, and after exciting football matches between spectators and fans and by mobs or rioters (hooligans) in the audience group. In this research, hooliganism has been explained and investigated from different biological, psychological and sociological dimensions. The current research method is quantitative in terms of application and cross-sectional in terms of time. Methodology: The sampling method is random and the sample size of the research is due to the lack of specific statistics on the number of hooligans and spectators who appear as hooligans in football-related sports gatherings. 393 questionnaires were collected by random sampling method. SPSS software was used for data analysis. Results: Processing, statistical analysis of information was done using descriptive and inferential statistics (frequency distribution tables, correlation tests, multivariate regression and path analysis). The findings of the research showed that emotional discharge (0.423), mental illness (0.462), feeling of failure (0.249), feeling of youth and masculinity identity (0.382), sense of social belonging (-0.257), relative deprivation (0.379), adherence to reference groups (-0.289), social isolation (-0.267), adherence to deviant patterns (0.611), media consumption (0.176), social responsibility (269) There is a significant relationship between spectators and hooliganism. The present study, by describing violence and rapprochement, examines the views of biomedical criminologists and immigrant audiences in relation to the violence of football spectators. The basic issue of the violence of football spectators and the explanation of criminological biology and jurisprudential theories about the violence of spectators in soccer is the suppression of biological views. The liberalism of transversalism Rationality and empiricism are the key to the attitudes of biocriminologists. Most of these opinions are related to the criminalization of individuals and the perceived violence of soccer spectators as a safety valve in the evacuation of instinctive devastating excitement which, if not evacuated to psychological illness, leads to the imamiyah, while paying attention to the material and emotional aspects of mankind and to eliminates the power of sports and non-violence. Soccer fans, with a keen heartbeat of respect for the wisdom of the people and the violence of the spectators, will be acceptable to the general government and the ambitions of the american ambassadors will be accepted. The Qur'an, as a human book and criminology as an anthropological science in the analysis of violence, can be a reflection of the thoughts of soccer fans to compensate for the criminological defects of violence.          Mixed strategy Nash equilibrium (MSNE) is a concept commonly used in Game Theory. The game between the kicker and goalkeeper in soccer penalty kicks is a real game used to examine the application of the MSNE concept or the rate of its accuracy. The data were collected on the direction of kicks and jumps in 106 penalties kicked in Premier League of Iran and the predictions of the model analyzed. The observations represented that given the probability distribution of kick direction, the optimal strategy for goalkeepers is to stay in the center of the goal; but the goalkeepers, almost always, jumped to the right or left. Finally, the “left-left” pattern is the most frequent and have the greatest number of observations. Manuscript profile

Background& Purpose: Present study was aimed to investigate Effects of Dynamic Warm-up With and Without a Weighted Vest on jump and maximal power performance of lower limb in male soccer players.Material and Methods: 15 young male soccer players voluntarily participated in this study. Warm up protocol included General Warm up (running at 70% of maximum heart rate) and Warm up using Weighted Vest was about 6% of body weight participants. The data was processed by using SPSS version 21 and dependent t-test and 2-way ANOVA for repeated measures and Bonferroni test. Results: Dynamic Warm-up without a Weighted Vest led to significant decrease in long jump record, jump Sargent index and maximal strength (p≤0.05). In contrast, Dynamic Warm-up with Weighted Vest resulted in a significant increase in long jump, jump Sargent and maximal strength (p≤0.05). Dynamic Warm-up with Weighted Vest led to significant increase in long jump performance in comparison of General Warm up (p≤0.05). There was no significant difference between the effects of two dynamic warm-ups in jump performance, Sargent and lower limb maximal strength (p≤0.05). Conclusion: The results showed an improvement in vertical jump performance with load 6% by weight vest during the warm-up protocol compared to the General Warm up. It seems that the use of this method of heating is more effective in developing power performance of young soccer players. Manuscript profile

Beach soccer is one of the emerging sports that has attracted the attention of most countries in the world. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the development of beach soccer in Iran. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to design an interpretive structural model of barriers to the development of beach soccer in Iran. This research is applied in terms of purpose and data collection was done in the field and in a mixed qualitative and quantitative manner. The statistical population in the quantitative part, including the officials of the beach soccer committee of the federation and the football delegations, the managers of the clubs and the coaches of the national beach soccer teams, was equal to 50 in total and in the qualitative part, 18 experts. Due to the limitation of members, the statistical sample was equal to the community. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire containing 16 items which was designed based on a comprehensive study of sources and opinions of the qualitative research sample and using the Delphi method. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 10 university professors and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test (α = 0.88). Barriers were inserted in the form of structural self-interaction and a qualitative sample was provided as a questionnaire. ISM technique was used to level the obstacles and determine the priority of the action. Based on the findings, the obstacles were classified into seven levels. Obstacles to the lack of a development plan and the lack of attention of federation officials and football delegations to the development of beach soccer were at the basic level of the model. In general, it can be said that more attention of the officials of the Football Federation and the delegations on the design and implementation of the strategic plan will facilitate the removal of many intermediate and top obstacles of the model. Background: The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of plyometric exercises with arginine supplementation on some physical fitness factors of beach soccer players for the purpose of injury prevention. Method: Based on the research entry criteria, 20 beach soccer players were selected and were randomly assigned to two groups of plyometric exercises (n=10) and plyometrics with arginine supplement (n=10). Then, age, height, weight, and physical fitness factors including aerobic and anaerobic capacity, muscle strength and endurance, and fat percentage of subjects were evaluated. The first training group received plyometric exercises with arginine supplement. In the second group, plyometric exercises were applied along with placebo. After 8 weeks of training, physical fitness factors were re-evaluated. The correlated T test was used to determine the intra-group changes and the ANCOVA test was used to compare between the groups. The obtained results were analyzed using SPSS version 26 software. Results: The findings showed that both plyometric training programs with and without arginine supplementation had a significant effect on improving aerobic power (P=0.002, P=0.001), anaerobic power (P≥0.01), muscle strength. (P=0.001), muscle endurance (P=0.004) and fat percentage (P=0.001). Also, the results of comparing the effects of two training programs show that there is a significant difference between the two training programs in the variables of aerobic power (P=0.01), anaerobic power (P≥0.05) and fat percentage (P=0.02). Conclusions: According to the results and previous studies, using two types of plyometric exercises, with and without using Arginine supplementation especially with arginine supplementation could be useful to prevent sports related injuries specially ankle and knee sprains and groin strain which are prevalent among soccer players of all types specially beach soccer players. It is explained by different mechanisms including affecting aerobic and anaerobic powers, muscle strength and endurance, and body fat. Manuscript profile
