The MoreIn the present work, the symmetric thermal buckling behavior of shear deformable heterogonous nano/micro circular porous plates resting on a two parameter foundation is studied. The material behavior of the nano plate is modeled by the modified couple stress theory. The plate material properties assumed to be graded across the thickness direction according to a simple power law, and has a uniform porosity. Using Mindlin’s plate theory and the nonlinear von-Karman strain field and implementing the energy method, the plate stability equations together with the membrane equilibrium equation are derived and expressed in terms of the displacement field components. Then the nondimensionalized forms of the equations are discretized using differential quadrature method (DQM). The resulting eigenvalue problem is solved to evaluate the plate critical buckling temperature difference. Comparative studies are carried out. Also the influences of some important parameters including length scale factor, porosity factor and Winkler& Pasternak stiffness coefficients are investigated.. Manuscript profile -

Most of the water resources are stored as the non-drinkable saline water or are frozen in the poles. Therefore, they cannot be used directly for drinking. This issue indicates the importance of using appropriate techniques for water purification. One of these techniques is the usage of solar stills that can be used in remote tropical areas. The simple structure, low cost of manufacturing, and the usage of solar energy as a clean source is some benefits of this kind of equipment. The main problem of solar stills is their low efficiency. The researchers in this field used many active and passive methods to increase the efficiency of this device. In this research, two passive techniques used for enhancing the efficiency of solar stills containing usage of porous materials and nanoparticles are reviewed. The results of the research in these fields are briefly presented. Finally, based on the literature review, some suggestions for future works are provided. Manuscript profile -

These structures are a new class of porous materials, which are formed by connecting metal ions or clusters with polydentate organic ligands by covalent bonds. Compared to other porous compounds such as zeolites, silica, and activated carbon, coordination polymers are considered multifunctional materials with different properties due to the ability to adjust the surface of the cavity, size, shape, and functional groups of the surface of their cavities. For this reason, these compounds are used in different fields, including gas storage and absorption, manufacturing of various sensors, material separation, medical, biological, environmental and catalysis applications. The synt MoreHCl is always used as precursor in synthesis of γ-alumina granules via oil-drop. A comparative study was conducted to evaluate the effect of precursor on the catalytic characteristics and performance of γ-alumina prepared via the oil-drop technique. The synthesized materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller), BJH (Barret-Joyner-Halenda), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmitting electron microscopy (TEM), and ammonia temperature programmed desorption (NH3-TPD( techniques. As a general trend, the γ-alumina catalyst prepared via oil-drop using HNO3 as the precursor has the higher surface area, pore volume, pore size, and distribution which are preferred in catalysis. Based on the results, the γ-alumina samples prepared using HNO3 are superior in activity about two times at 250 °C due to the differences in crystalline size, morphology, textural properties, and acid strength. Moreover, the incorporation of chlorine into γ-alumina structure is responsible for poisoning of catalysts which is evident by the less activity for the reaction Manuscript profile -
