      The purpose of this research was to identify and prioritize factors affecting the use of digital promotion tools by farmers. The research in terms of division based on the purpose is considred as a developmental research; In terms of classification based on the method of data collection can be categorized as a descriptive-survey research; And in terms of the type of data, it is a mixed qualitative and quantitative research.The statistical population of the research consists of professors, agricultural experts and leading farmers who have enough experience in the field of digital agriculture. The analysis method in the qualitative part is the Delphi method and in the quantitative part the analytic hierarchy prosses (AHP) is used to rank the known factors. The results in the qualitative part led to the identification of 6 main factors (economic, individual, educational-extensional, policy making, technical and motivational factors). The ranking results showed that individual factors with weight (0.267) in the first place, educational-promotional factors with weight (0.256) in second place, technical and technological factors with weight (0.187) in third place, motivational factor with weight (0.131) In the fourth place, policy making weight (0.093) is in the fifth place and economic factors with weight (0.065) is in the sixth place.       Irrigation and drainage networks contribute to the balance between water resources management and sustainable agricultural development and have valuable effects on the economy and society. Participation of farmers in irrigation and drainage networks increases water productivity and improves agricultural sustainability. Therefore, the participation of users in irrigation network plans is essential as a new approach in water management. In this regard, a research was conducted with the aim of investigating social and economic characteristics and their impact on the participation and success of irrigation and drainage networks, focusing on the Alborz Dam network. The statistical population of this study included 72 farmers who participated in the irrigation and drainage network of Alborz Dam. The results showed that, in terms of social security, the implementation of irrigation network projects has reduced disputes and anomalies among the villagers. In terms of social literacy, farmers have considered the implementation of irrigation network projects to increase awareness in the field of strengthening local institutions. In terms of social participation, the implementation of irrigation network projects has not led to the participation of villagers in other village affairs.       The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of altruistic and Egoistic values on the attitude and intention of farmers in Kermanshah province to adapt to water shortage. In order to select farmers, a multi-stage cluster sampling method was used (n=380). The data was collected from the wheat farmers of Kermanshah province through a researcher-made questionnaire. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire was tested and confirmed. The conceptual model was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the variable of altruistic values had a positive and significant effect on the variables of attitude and intention to adapt, and the variable of egoistic values had a negative and significant effect on the variables of attitude and intention to adapt. Also, the attitude variable towards adapting to water scarcity had a positive and significant effect on the intention to adapt. In the present study, 39% of the variance of the attitude variable and 50.1% of the variance of the intention to adapt to water scarcity were explained. Manuscript profile

      This study aimed to determine the criteria, sub-criteria, and priorities of brand equity (BE) in the agricultural extension and education (AEAE) field at Islamic Azad University. Prioritization and weighting of the BE alternatives of the AEAE field were performed by the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) approaches. Given the fact that we targeted customer-based brand equity (CBBE), 28 Ph.D. students with higher knowledge and understanding in the field of AEAE were selected from the Islamic Azad University of Iran using purposive sampling. A questionnaire based on the 1-9 Saati scale was considered our main research tool. The outputs of the sub-criteria priorities based on the weights derived from the Expert Choice and Super Decision software were used to compare the results obtained from the AHP and ANP approaches for the BE in the AEAE field.       Urban agriculture as the new strategy in the process of urban sustainable development and extension is one of the mechanisms of its development. Using efficient and capable manpower is essential for urban agricultural extension. The purpose of this study was to identify the competencies required for urban agriculture extension agents. Descriptive-survey method was used in this study. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The validity of the questionnaire was approved by a panel of academic experts. Pre-test and calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficients were used to measure the reliability (0.90). Extension agents in Zanjan province formed the population of the study (N=168) and samples were selected using stratified random sampling (n=91). Using confirmatory factor analysis, the competencies required for urban agriculture extension agents were summarized in seven factors including: extension and education planning skills, Innovative and entrepreneurial responsibility, capabilities in ICT and educational technology and urban communication skills, high legal- administrative knowledge, experience and knowledge in education and adult learning, positive attitude to urban agriculture with up to date experience and knowledge and scientific ethics worthy. These factors explained 76.91% of the total variance. Result of F test showed that the views of experts on the first and sixth factor were significant, but the rest were not significant.       The purpose of this study was to investigate the extension methods about combating the drought in agricultural sector from the view points of the agricultural experts and farmers in Hamedan. The research was an applied research on the basis of the purpose, and it was a surveying study in terms of data gathering. Data were gathered through a questionnaire tool. The study population included both 8443 farmers and 135 agricultural experts from Hamedan County in 2020. Of those 367 farmers and 100 agricultural experts were selected by using Cochran's formula respectively. Validity of the questionnaire (face validity) was confirmed by the agricultural extension professors from Bu-Ali Sina University. To evaluate the reliability of the research instrument, Cronbach's alpha was used during a pre-test and it was 0.94 for the research' questions (extension education methods). The results showed that the most important extension methods to control drought which agreed with both farmers and experts were: training by local leaders, visiting demonstration farms, use advisory services. The results also showed that according to factor analysis of the farmers' views, extension methods to combat drought can be summarized in 4 groups including: extension and advisory services, transfer information by local communities, people and magazines, training with local leaders and councils, watching extension films and visiting extension agents. According to factor analysis of the experts' views, extension methods to combat drought can be summarized in 4 categories, which are: visit tours, using extension publications, using information networks, using cooperatives, village municipality and councils' capacities.       While there is no reliable scientific information about the results of the cultivation and consumption of transgenic products at the community level, and the controversy between the proponents and opponents has led the process to continue, researchers seem to be the only group that due to high knowledge, they can be responsive to consumers, farmers and the Governors. In this regard, the present study was conducted on the basis of qualitative paradigm and using content analysis to analyze the views of researchers at agricultural research centers on the opposition to cultivation and consumption of transgenic products in Iran. In order to collect the data, a semi-structured interview method with 23 researchers was used with purposeful sampling and snowball sampling. The findings of this study showed that the three factors of "environmental degradation", "endangering human health" and "Imposing cultivation and consumption, weak ethical considerations and lack of national independence" are the reasons for the opposition to the cultivation and consumption of transgenic products from the viewpoint of researchers at agricultural research centers.       Thus, this study was done to investigate the impacts of climate change adaptation strategies on smallholder household food security among horticultural crop farmers. 456 farmers were selected through stratified random sampling. A questionnaire was utilized for data collection consisting of four sections. Data were analyzed with structural equation modeling using Smart-PLS 3.0. 89 percent of households were anxious and uncertain about food supply, 76 percent were households with insufficient food quality, and 71 percent did experience the inadequate quantity of food intake and its physical consequences. Also, farming and non-farming strategies had a positive and significant impact on the role of farmers in adapting to climate change, while infrastructure and support strategies had a significant impact on the role of government and rural institutions in adapting to climate change. In addition, the effect of the role of farmers and the role of government and rural institutions in improving the dimensions of food security was positive and significant, but only in relation to the role of farmers on food consumption was not observed. On the other hand, the agricultural Extension as an interdisciplinary science examines the phenomenon of decline of Zagros oak forests from a sociological and psychological perspective, as well as from an agricultural and rural perspective, and offers strategies that maintain the sustainability of natural resources while maintaining livelihoods. In this regard, internal and external factors were collected through in-depth interviews with 30 scientific and executive experts in the provinces of Zagros basin in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Additionally, they were identified through line-by-line analysis in the form of common content and using MAXqda12 software analysis. In the next step, the internal and external factors questionnaire was adjusted and and the weight factor of each factor was calculated and the identified strategies were prioritized based on the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix.Considering the results in the internal and external factor evaluation matrix for the sustainable management of forests in the basin, as well as the dominance of weaknesses in the external factor evaluation matrix and threats in the internal, defensive pattern was more prioritized for managing the forests sustainably compared to the other strategic patterns.       The agricultural sector as a commercial sector in Iran has important advantages can help as an important economic sector for the development of non-oil exports. Despite having a relative advantage in the production of some agricultural products, this sector unfortunately does not have a significant contribution to the country's exports and foreign exchange earnings. According to the above problem, the purpose of this study was to identify the obstacles to the export of agricultural products. The approach of this study was qualitative and grounded theory methodology was used in this study. Data in this study were collected by using semi-structured interviews with 17 exporters of agricultural products in Hormozgan province. By analyzing the content of the interviews, 100 conceptual propositions related to the purpose of the research were extracted during open coding. These concepts were categorized into 22 subcategories during axial coding and then into 6 general categories during selective coding. According to this category, the most important obstacles to the export of agricultural products include Inefficiencies in the production stage of products, policy and legal obstacles, inefficient infrastructure and bureaucracy, hardware and software inefficiency of the customs system, insufficiency and high cost of the sea transportation system, and problems of sales management and transfer of export currency resulting from the restriction.       , the main goal of the current research is to investigate the causes and factors influencing the migration of rural elites in Cherdavel City located in Ilam province. The statistical population of the present study includes all the elites living in rural areas in the central part of Cherdavel City, and 30 people have been selected and studied as a statistical sample. The tool used in this research includes a researcher-made questionnaire whose content (form) and structural validity and reliability were verified using composite reliability. Data analysis was done through correlation analysis and pattern finding of structural equations using SPSS and Smart PLS software. The preliminary results of the evaluation of the model studied in this research showed that the model has acceptable fit indices. The results of the correlation test showed a significant and negative relationship between the independent variables (natural factors, cultural-social factors, economic factors, service-welfare factors, scientific-educational factors, and psychological factors) with the desire to migrate among the rural elites studied in Cherdavel City of There is the province of Ilam. Also, the modeling of structural equations showed that they had the most influence on the dependent variable, respectively, economic factors (γ = -0.727, t = 42.75), scientific-educational factors (γ = -0.35, 06 t = 9.), natural factors (γ = 0.169, t = 5.6). In general, the independent variables studied have explained 75.6% of the changes in the variance of the migration tendency of the rural elite. Manuscript profile

This study examined the challenges of the grape production value chain in the West Azerbaijan Province. This study used a qualitative approach through the grounded theory methodology. Data were collected through semi-structured face-to-face interviews with the Agricultural Jihad Organization speceilaists; agricultural extension agents; researchers from the provincial Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center; and grape producers in the West Azerbaijan Province, who were selected through the purposeful sampling technique. The qualitative data analysis was conducted using MAXQDA software version 12.       the present study aims to identify the status and prioritization of effective factors in the development and establishment of R&D units in East Azarbaijan water users Co-operatives. Questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection and spss statistical software used for data analysis. The statistical population of the research includes 317 managers of water users cooperatives in the province, of which 175 people were selected as a statistical sample based on the Morgan table using a simple random method and quota. The results showed that the cooperative managers did not have a positive attitude towards development and creation of R&D units. Stepwise multiple regression results showed that four variables (income satisfaction, decision-making rate, managers' awareness of the benefits of R&D units, and marital status) accounted for about 81.6% of the variance in the factors affecting the rate.       The purpose of present study was to the investigation of agricultural experts’ perspectives towards the existence of Bt rice in the food and agricultural chain of the country. The dominant approach in this study is the mixed method. In the qualitative sector at the first data gathered through in-depth interviews with elites from both the executive and educational-research’ centers. The content analysis was used to analysis the data. The sample chose through using purposive sampling method and after achieving the forty-third interview with theoretical saturation the sampling completed. In order to the analysis of the qualitative data, the NVIVO software used. Then in the quantitative sector, a researcher-made questionnaire which its validity and reliability confirmed by a panel of experts and the alpha coefficient more than 0.7 distributed among 108 experts. Data analyzed using SPSS software (V20).  Results showed that there are three main perspectives about using of Iranian Bt rice between the respondents include the necessity of using, precautionary using and not using. Also, the results showed that most of the respondents are agree to the label of Bt rice. The most important risk of Bt rice was its exclusive production and the most important benefit of Bt rice was its resistance to the pests and more yield. The results also revealed that there is no significant mean difference between the perception of academicians and practitioners. The result present study can have achievements policy –makers and decision makers related to agriculture and food sector of the country. Manuscript profile
