    Description of the ethical principles of publishing an article

    This license allows the copying, publishing, display and execution of the work and its derivative activities only if the licensor or the owner reserves the right to determine how to use it.

     

    Free access to the articles

    The Quarterly Journal of Knowledge Management in Sport is a publication with open and free access to published articles. In open access journals, free access to the full text file of the articles is provided.

     

    Ethical Publishing Standards (COPE)

    The author must know and be committed to all ethical principles in the field of publishing. Ethical principles and ethics charter in the production of scientific products are defined principles and in the case of non-compliance of the author and authors, this publication considers any national and international legal action as its right. Submission of an article by the author means the awareness and obeys of these rights. The author and the active people in the journal (chief editor of the journal, members of the editorial board, manager, editor and publisher) must accept and agree on the ethical rules and charter of the journal. Ethical charter in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) is a guide for authors and contributors in the journal.

     

    • The submitted articles must be in the specialized field of the quarterly and the result of research work by author or authors.
    • In addition to being the subject of the article in the specialized field of the journal, the articles or part of it must not be in the judgment process or publication at the same time in any journals inside or outside the country. Articles presented in the form of abstracts in congresses, symposia, domestic and foreign seminars that have been published, can be presented in the form of a full article.
    • The publication is free to reject, accept, edit, summarize or modify the received articles.
    • The correction and summarization of the content is done with the opinion of the authors and the authors are responsible for the accuracy of the article’s content.
    • The author is responsible for the correspondence and the publication of the article does not imply endorsement of its contents.
    • The original of rejected or canceled articles will be removed from the journal's archives after six months and the journal will not be responsible for it.
    • In case of using other people's content, the desired source should be referred to with the number and complete information of the mentioned source.
    • Submitted articles must not have been published in any other journals, so it is mandatory to complete the author commitment form not to submit the article to the other journals for publication or judgment at the time of registration and submission of the article.
    • The publication will keep the written article in the custody till the time of publication has come.

     

     

     

    Publishing decisions

    The rights of copyright and adaptation of other literary works are observed by the publication and the rights of individuals are reserved at the time of publication.

     

    Making fair decisions about articles

    Decisions about articles at any stage will be made regardless of the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, citizenship, or political philosophy.

     

    Confidentiality of information

    The personal information of the authors is strictly confidential and protected at any time to all persons who have access to the article, such as the editor, members of the editorial board and internal director of the journal and other active agents (other than the author) such as judges, consultants, editors and trusted publishers.

     

    Author’s duty

    Submission of scientific and standard articles: Authors should prepare articles in a scientific and coherent manner, according to the standard of publications. The method used in the article should be done accurately and objectively and the data should be reported correctly. Respect the rights of other people in the article through full citation. Avoid expressing sensitive and immoral issues, personal manners and tastes, race and religion, and false and inaccurate information and translations of other people's works without mentioning the title in the article.

    If it is necessary, the author should be asked to provide and introduce raw data, interviews or questionnaires and other tools which used in the research. Public access to this information (consistent with the ALPSP-STM statement) helps to improve the performance of the articles.

    Originality of the submitted article: Submitted articles must be the result of author’s work and any use of other people's research must be mentioned in the article.

    Rejection of publishing an article or an accepted and published article at the same time: It is against the law to submit an article to several publications or articles published or accepted to other publications at the same time.

    Mentioning appropriate references: References include mentioning all books, publications and Internet sites and other research of individuals in the bibliography.

    Mention the main author  and colleagues in the article and not mentioning the unrelated names;

    The main author of the article is the person who has played a major role in providing, preparing, designing and executing the article, and other authors are also mentioned as collaborators in the article. The main author of the article must make sure that all authors are mentioned and there are no unrelated names in the list. Also, all authors must have read the article and agreed to submit it.

    Any dangers posed to humans or other creatures by any authors ' research should be clearly stated in the article.

     

    Mentioning sponsors

    Authors must list all sponsorships of their article.

     

    Reporting major errors in the articles:

    Whenever the author notices any errors or inaccuracies in his article, he should informs the publication about it, corrects it or withdraws the article.

     

    Declaration and approval of article submission

    Submitting an article to the system indicates that the author acknowledges that the article has not been published in any other source (except part of the dissertation or abstract in academic institutions). Also, all authors are informed and satisfied with the publication of the article and their position in it.

    Submitting this article also means that the institution or sponsor of the research has expressed its consent to the responsible author for publishing the research. The author also undertakes not to send this article or article with similar results in Persian, English or other languages to any publishing authority during the process of reviewing or accepting the article. Otherwise, the publication reserves the right to sue. The author must be committed not to include any source or content or data in the article without providing and mentioning the source, and about the mentioned sources, the legal permission has been obtained.

    Copyright

    Once the article has been accepted in the journal, the authors are asked to fill in the publication agreement form with the signatures of all the authors and send it to the chief-editor. The text file of this agreement includes the copyright of the article. Acceptance of the terms of this letter will help to appropriate and wide dissemination of information.
