The process of accepting the articles
After uploading the article in the journal’s system and assigning the code to the articles, the initial review of the article will be done within 10 working days to check if: it is in line with the main features of the journal mentioned in the authors section; commitment and conflict of interest forms are sent; the article is authentic in terms of plagiarism and similarity detection is done through software and systems such as Samim Noor. If the submitted article does not receive the necessary approval in the initial review, it will be returned in order to be modified and complied with the required indexes of the journal; otherwise the articles will not be given priority to be received again. If the article receives the required approval in the initial review, it will be judged.
Articles that are proved to be reviewed will be sent for evaluation to at least two referees specialized in the subject matter of the article during the initial review. Typically, the judgement process takes about three months, and the time for the re-evaluation process will be added to that time after the article has been revised in the initial judgement.
The review of articles in the journal is done through double blind peer review and the identity of the authors of the articles and the referees is not known to both parties.
The reviewers are obliged to judge the article within the specified time period and in accordance with the policies and instructions of the publication. The referees announce the outcome of the judgement as: acceptance, need for a partial or general review, and non-acceptance along with explanations for the authors. In case where the referees announce that the submitted article has been printed or compiled before, it means that the article will not be accepted.
If one of the referees announces that the article needs to be revised, the author or authors of the article should make the necessary corrections to the article using the referees’ explanations within the time period set for the review. In order to determine the revision of the article, the sentences and phrases of the revised items (sentences or phrases) should be written in a different colour from the other sentences of the article, and the revised version should be uploaded in the system.
After receiving the revised version, to confirm the adequacy of the revised article, it is sent again to one of the previous referees or the third referee for comparative reviewing and the result of the judgment is announced to the authors through the system; if the referee accept the revised article, the article will be placed on the agenda of the editorial board of the publication in order to obtain the final result; if the revised version is not satisfactory it will be resubmitted to the author or authors for review, otherwise the article will be rejected.
Articles that receive final approval for publication at a board meeting are placed in the accepted articles section, in queue to receive DOI, editing, and page layout, and the article acceptance certificate, through specifying the time and number of the publication is issued to the author or authors, which can be accessible through the system.
Prior to publication of the article in the journal, the edited version of the article will be sent to the author or authors for clarification and final approval.
Following the publication of the article in the journal, the article is sent to national and international databases and indexes such as: Normgaz and the Islamic World Science Citation Centre (ISC).
Authors of the accepted articles must deposit four million rials (four hundred thousand Tomans) for the costs of editing and publishing the article through the journal system and online to the designated account of the university.
Delays and non-compliance with the time specified for the author or authors, at any stage when they are asked to do something, will lead the journal to remove the article from the queue of publishing replace it with another article.
The average processing time of articles submitted to the journal is 6 months from the time of receiving the approval in the initial review to the time of receiving the final result from the editorial board, and this waiting period depends on the number of articles in print.
