        Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the level of information literacy among undergraduate students of Malek Ashtar university of Technology(Shahin Shahr-Isfahan). Methodology: The methodology of this research is survey –descriptive type using a questionnaire. The population under study was 250 students of Malek Ashtar University of Technology undergraduate students. Findings: According to the research findings, the mean scores obtained among the population under study were: 3.45 for good understanding of information needs, 2.94 for information search strategies, 2.4 for location of information and access to information, 3.38 for use of information, 3.39 for combining new information with previous knowledge and 2.71 for evaluating the result of search process regarding how much it has satisfied their information needs. Conclusion: Based upon the Eisenberg and Berkowitz’s Six big skills, the present research has identified the strengths of information literacy among Undergraduate students of Malek Ashtar university of Technology. It has been carried out to find and study whether Undergraduate students ofMalek Ashtar university of Technology are equipped with these skills and whether they feel the need to gain such skills. In total, the general results of study indicate the status of information literacy among Undergraduate students of Malek Ashtar university of Technology with mean score of 3.04 is medium.         Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between communication skills and personal traits among librarians of Mazandaran public libraries. Methodology: The population census is used for the study, which included all librarians of Mazandaran public libraries. The survey method was used and the 18-item questionnaire of Barton communication skills was used to collect required data. In analyzing the data, according to the research hypotheses, Pearson correlation coefficient and chi-square test was used. Findings: The findings show that there is no significant between the communication skills with age, gender, and work experience of librarians. Also, significant relationship exists between the Communication skill and level and degree of education for librarians. Conclusion: The field of education has a very important role in the development of communication skills and graduates of information science and knowledge in universities accounting courses such as principles of reference, and General Psychology internship spend that teaches them how to act in communications.         Purpose: The study from direction is sought to determine the level of knowledge sharing and creativity and innovation and On the other hand seeks to illustrate the relationship between knowledge sharing with creativity and innovation. Methodology: This applied research is carried out using survey method. The research population of 80 people from librarians of three university Tarbiat Modares , Islamic Azad of Science and Research Branch and Tehran of Medical Sciences. The data using descriptive and inferential statistics, including Pearson correlation coefficient, the F and T tests were analyzed. Findings: These research findings indicate that is not desirable knowledge sharing, creativity and innovation in central library state university, Islamic Azad Medical Sciences; In addition, there was no significant correlation between knowledge sharing and creativity. however, the variables of knowledge sharing and innovation is a significant relationship. Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between knowledge sharing and creativity; Means that any changes in the knowledge sharing take place in libraries, it is not necessarily associated with a change in the creative librarian. In addition, the knowledge sharing with environmental innovation, personal innovation, feedback-individual innovation there is no significant correlation; Means that  the low and the high knowledge sharing and experience will not follow the low and the high environmental innovation, individual innovation, feedback-individual innovation; The low and the high knowledge sharing and experience, more or less peripheral to innovation, personal innovation, feedback-person innovation.         Purpose: The aim of this study is to identify Special Collections of School Textbooks in Germany, Canada and Islamic Republic of Iran. Methodology: In this study, researcher tries to find similarities and differences in collection development policies and providing information services of these countries in order to provide recommendations for Iran special collection of school textbooks and compared these elements and use the experiences. This study is a comparative descriptive-analytic research. The research population is special collections of school textbooks in the countries studied. The information needed to answer questions from the official websites and library resources of these countries. The model used in this context, is the Bereday model. Findings: Results showed that there are differences between collection development policies and methods for providing information services in these countries and there are similarities in storage and retrieval.         Purpose: Public Libraries must have a facilities and variety of resources for every people and every age and people by all education level to fiend their own information needs. Today's, according to some problems, these libraries have a lot of problems and they have challenged by lake of time of user. Methodology: This is survey study and all users of Kermanshah public libraries include this study population. The data collection tool was questionnaire and its reliability was confirmed by calculating Cornbrash's alpha coefficient 0.94. Findings: Findings show that rate of use of Kermanshah public libraries are not in the good condition. Also findings show that there are significant relation between "Age", "Sex", "Education Level", " Leisure", "Use of Internet", and "Distance to library" and use of Public Library. Conclusion: Attention to suitable location of public libraries in Kermanshah and policy making for structural reforms and content for attract different people like women and young people are one of the most important results of this study.         Purpose: The purpose of this research is study on the number of 8 proposed metasearch engines Contains Metagopher, Ask Jeeves, Webcrawler, Depperweb, Clusty, Goto, Metalib, Polymeta to response to specific questions in the field of Knowledge and Information Science. Methodology: The number of 16 specific questions in this field in each metasearch engine searched and The first ten results Evaluated and compared in each metasearch engine for the base of the criteria's of  Relevancy, Precision  & False drops. Totally 1280 search done. data analysis used from the precision formula. Capabilities of each metasearch engine, the rate of false drops and its variants, difference of metasearch engines and selection of the best metasearch engine evaluated in response to these questions. Findings: Findings showed that metasearch engines are not desirable for information retrieval in the field of Knowledge and Information Science. Conclusion: Webcrawler is the best metasearch engine with retrieval of  87.31 percent and also each metasearch engine is different from other metasearch engines in retrieval of results.         Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the role of subject headings librarians in public libraries of the province hamedan­'s resource recovery based on three components: the reader needs, unity subject of language issues. Methodology: The research method and survey method is applied. The questionnaire is self-made. The study population consisted of 40 public librarian’s province that holds the Knowledge and Information Science. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, frequency distribution, mean and standard deviation were used numerical indicators, to test the research hypotheses, one sample t-test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z was used and Cronbach's alpha 0/987. This questionnaire librarians in 3 specialization of subject headings principles include the need for the reader, the assessment of the unity of subject and language issues. Findings: The findings indicate that the subject headings, thematic unity (3/29) and language issues with (2/80) and need reader (2/79), the highest average and role in their children's recovery resources.         Purpose: The Present Study aims to review the science produced by the faculty of Guilan university in Web of Science. And  their Scientific map will be illustrated using Hist Site during the twelve years (2001-2012). Methodology: The Present study is of applied type. Using scientometrics` methods and applying Bradford and Lotka principle and citation analysis, the scientific output in web of science is analyzed. The statistical population in this study is selected by census and includes all of the scientific output the faculty of Guilan University has produced from 2001 to 2012. In order to analyze, the data has been collected by searching the web of science and the data has been analyzed in three stages using SPSS, Excle and ISI.exe software and then to plot the scientific history of this university the Hist Site has been applied. Findings: The Present study showed that during the interval of the study the researchers of the university have published 911 indexes at the web of science.  The University of Guilan has had a growth in the world sciences amounting to 22.7 %, on average. Among the researchers, Shirini has had the highest growth. The investigations showed that the faculty of Guilan University had the most collaboration with England, Australia, USA and Germany. The results showed that the researchers of this university had the most co-operations with the authors of Iranian universities including Guilan University of medical sciences and medical university of Tehran. This shows that the researchers of this university have 84 % group cooperation. Lotka principle in terms of frequency distribution and Bradford principle in terms of core journal has conformed publishing the papers of the faculty. The scientific structure of the university is based on the citationat the national and international level using the “Hist Site” software. The results indicate that the science map of this university is constituted from 4 clusters including mathematics and chemistry. Conclusion: The results of this study show that the chemistry researchers of this university have a high share in science production. Although the process of science making in this university has been going upwards during the years of this study this process has not been uniform in all of the fields of this university. Therefore, the management of the university must provide conditions so that the researchers will have high motivation and the required capabilities to get published in the prestigious international journals.
