Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between attitude toward knowledge management and creativity among the directors and staff of Volleyball Federation of I. R. Iran.
Methodology: Research method is descriptive and correlative. Population of research consisted of 92 people of Volleyball Federation's directors and managers and considering the limitation in population, the sample size, the whole research populations were surveyed, of which 72 people completed and returned the questionnaire. The research data was collected using 2 standard creative questionnaires of Torrance and knowledge management, which were employed after confirming reliability (α=0.864) and validity of questionnaires.
Results: Spearman's rho test showed that the variable of attitude toward knowledge management has a statistical positive and significant relationship with creativity, and considering One Sample t-test's results, Federation's employees had good attitude toward knowledge management, but in creativity, they were not in an acceptable level.
Conclusion: Based on the findings, it could be concluded that the high attitude toward knowledge management could be accompanied by higher creativity of directors. Thus, considering the fact that there is a significant and positive relationship between knowledge management and creativity, the weakness of creativity in federation which is a result of weakness in elements of fluidity, creativity, flexibility, and elaboration, could be ameliorated by reinforcing elements of knowledge management (defining goals of knowledge, reconnaissance of knowledge, development of knowledge, sharing knowledge).
