The mediating role of empowerment in the relationship between knowledge management with quality performance and innovation (case study: Entekhab Industrial Group)

Abstract :
The present research was conducted with the aim of determining the mediating role of empowerment in the relationship between knowledge management and quality performance and innovation. This research is descriptive in terms of type and a correlational research in terms of method, and its statistical population consists of all the employees of the quality control department of the selected industrial group in the number of 600 people, among them, 202 people as a sample through sampling in Available were selected. Research tools included knowledge management questionnaire (Conrad and Newman, 1999), quality performance questionnaire (Zheng et al, 2014), innovation questionnaire (Hong et al., 2011) and empowerment questionnaire (Spirtzer, 1995). The data obtained from the research were analyzed using the Pearson correlation method and structural equation modeling. The results showed that knowledge management with quality performance, innovation and empowerment; Empowerment with quality performance and innovation have a direct and significant relationship (P < 0.01). Also, the presented model has a good fit and empowerment mediates the relationship between knowledge management and quality performance and innovation. Therefore, due to the role and importance of performance in organizations, attention to these important findings should be considered by managers and policy makers.
