Abstract :
SARS-CoV-2, also known as the coronavirus, is a respiratory virus that was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. This virus can cause mild to severe respiratory illnesses and, in some cases, lead to death. Common symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Traditional medicine, as a complementary approach to disease management, has gained importance, especially during health crises. Many people are seeking natural treatments and methods for disease prevention. In traditional medicine, medicinal plants, proper diet, and relaxation techniques are used to strengthen the immune system and improve health. The SARS-CoV-2 virus, the cause of COVID-19, has profound effects on public health and the human immune system. Traditional medicine, with an emphasis on the use of medicinal plants and natural methods, helps boost the immune system and prevent diseases. In this regard, some plants and natural compounds can improve immune function and reduce the complications caused by viral infections. These plants and natural compounds are often used as supplements to medical treatments. The incorporation of these plants alongside modern treatments and health measures can help improve immune function and reduce the severity of the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Given the importance of this topic, recognizing and using natural methods can be considered as a complement to modern treatments. However, it is essential to remember that traditional medicine cannot replace modern medical treatments and should always be practiced under the supervision of a physician and with the guidance of traditional medicine specialists
