About the journal
The Journal of Industrial Engineering International (JIEI), established in 2003, is an international peer‑reviewed journal dedicated to advancing both the theory and practice of industrial engineering. The journal provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to disseminate original research findings, innovative methodologies, and practical solutions to contemporary challenges in the field.
JIEI is published quarterly in English and accepts a wide range of manuscript types, including original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications. The journal covers a broad spectrum of industrial engineering topics such as production and manufacturing systems, operations research, optimization, supply chain and logistics management, engineering management, and training and training systems.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous, fair, and double‑blind peer‑review process. The initial editorial screening is typically completed within 2–4 days. The peer‑review process generally takes 25–60 days, and accepted articles are usually published within 70–90 days from the date of submission.
As a fully open‑access journal, JIEI is committed to the worldwide dissemination of scientific knowledge and aims to promote collaboration, innovation, and growth within the international industrial engineering community.
