یکی از عرصه های کاربرد طنز در ادبیات فارسی، آثار عرفانی است. طنز و عرفان به لحاظ فلسفی ـ ساختاری، نقاط مشترکی با یک‌دیگر دارند. از آن جمله این که هر دو آن‌ها بر اجتماع نقیضین استوار هستند و فایدة تعلیم و شادمانگی روح را دارند. در این میان آنچه که زمینة زیبایی‌شناسی مشترک میان این دو را مستحکم می کند اجتماع نقیضین و ضدین است که در علم بدیع به زیبایی در صنعت پارادوکس وجود دارد. در این مقاله پژوهشگر بر آن است که با روشی اسنادی ـ کتابخانه ای انواع تناقض موجود در طنزهای عرفانی را بررسی نماید.
Satire is amply found in Persian literature, including theosophical texts. Theosophy and satire have many philosophical-structural features in common; one is, they are both founded on the union of contradictory entities, with the effect being both exultation and information. The common aesthetic feature of satire and theosophy comprises the union of contradictory and opposing entities, the same union so commonly encountered in Rhetoric and especially in paradoxes. Here we will be trying to identify and investigate examples of contradiction in theosophical literature, using library -documentation method.
