    1 - Response of Growth Curve of Canola Genotypes to Use Different Concentration and Time of Application Gibberellin

    BACKGROUND: The crop needs growth regulators in order to complete the growth, because of its important role in improving biological activity, as many researches and studies indicated that the treatment of plants with a specific growth regulator leads to the improvement of the plant structure and the yield quality and the production of seeds. OBJECTIVES: Current study was done to evaluate effect of Different level of Concentration and Time of Application Gibberellin on crop production and growth indices of Canola genotypes. METHODS: This research was done via combined analysis split plot factorial experiment based on randomized complete blocks design with three replications along 2015-16 and 2016-17. The main factor included different level of canola genotype (Hyola401, RGS003, Jerry) and sub factors consisted different concentration of gibberellin hormone (0, 50 and 100 mg.l-1) and different time of application of gibberellin hormone (Planting, vegetative phase before flowering, flowering until pod emergence). RESULT: According result of analysis of variance effect of genotype, concentration and time of application gibberellin on studied traits was significant at 5% probability level (on seed yield at 1%) but interaction effect of treatments was not significant. Mean comparison result of different level of genotype indicated that maximum studied traits were noted for Hyola401 and minimum of those belonged to Jerry. As for Duncan classification made with respect to different level of Gibberellin Concentration maximum and minimum amount of studied traits belonged to 100 ppm and control. Between different levels of time of gibberellin application the maximum studied traits was observed in vegetative phase and the lowest ones were found in ripening phase. CONCLUSION: Finally according result of current research application Hyola401 in amount of 100 ppm Gibberellin Concentration at Vegetative Phase had the highest amount of growth indices and seed yield and it can be advice to producers in studied region. پرونده مقاله

    BACKGROUND: The application of paclobutrazol as a growth stimulant not only increases the cold tolerance of sugarcane but also enhances its yield.OBJECTIVES: To investigate the effect of different concentrations of paclobutrazol in enhancing winter tolerance of sugarcane variety CP48-103 this study was carried out.METHODS: Current research was done during the 2013 cropping season according randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The studied treatments were as control group (untreated(, burning of cold-damaged shoots, harvesting cold-damaged shoots without hormone consumption, harvesting cold-damaged shoots and spraying with a solution of 100 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol, harvesting cold-damaged shoots and spraying with a solution of 150 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol, spraying solution on cold-damaged shoots with a concentration of 100 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol, spraying solution on cold-damaged shoots with a concentration of 150 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol.RESULT: The highest chlorophyll content, measured at 40 (Spad), was observed in harvesting cold-damaged shoots and spraying with a solution of 150 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol. Among the treatments, the highest amount of syrup (with an average of 31%) was observed in the treatment of burning of cold-damaged shoots, while the lowest amount (with an average of 28%) was found in the treatment of harvesting cold-damaged shoots without hormone consumption. The sucrose percentage displayed a significant increase from October 15 to October 30 in different treatments. This indicates that the sucrose content in the sugarcane increased during this period across all treatments. The burning treatment resulted in the lowest percentage of sucrose, with an average of 11%. The percentage of extractable sugar reached its peak on December 6 and across different treatments, the highest amount of extractable sugar (with an average of 8.5%) was obtained from treatment involving the harvesting cold-damaged shoots and spraying with a solution of 150 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol. In terms of stem yield, the highest and lowest values (with an average of 59800 and 51280 kg.ha-1, respectively) were recorded in treatment of harvesting cold-damaged shoots and spraying with a solution of 150 mg.lit-1 paclobutrazol and control treatment, respectively.CONCLUSION: The treatment involving the application of paclobutrazol significantly increased the stem yield of sugarcane compared to the control treatment. پرونده مقاله

    BACKGROUND: Salicylic acid (SA) is a small molecule phenolic substance and secondary metabolite, which is commonly found in different plants. Abscisic acid (ABA), one of the five recognized plant hormones.OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this research was to investigate the most effective abscisic acid to salicylic acid ratio at different growth stages and its influence on crop production and qualitative trait of Cowpea.METHODS: Current study was conducted in the summer of 2016 in Shahid Salemi farm according factorial experiment based on randomized complete block design with 3 replications. This experiment included different ratios of abscisic acid to salicylic acid at 3 levels [including no use (control), 1.5:2 and 3:4 Mm/(mg/g)] and also included three of foliar application in different periods of growth [1-Before 30 days (slow growth period) 2- Flowering time 3- Pod appearance].RESULT: The difference between the different ratios of abscisic acid to salicylic acid in terms of pod length, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, 1000 seed weight, seed yield, biological yield, harvest index and protein percentage were statistically significant at the 1% of probability level. The difference between the levels of different periods of foliar application in all measured traits was significant at the 1% of probability level. The interaction effects of treatments on seed yield and biological yield was significant at the 1% of probability level and pod length and the number of pods per plant at the 5% of probability level. The highest seed yield, with an average of 2859 kg.ha-1, was related to the ratio of 1.5:2 abscisic acid to salicylic acid during vegetative growth, and the lowest (with an average of 1035 kg.ha-1) was related to the ratio of 3:4 hormones and foliar application at the pod appearance stage.CONCLUSION: According to the obtained results, it is recommended to apply the ratio of 3:4 abscisic acids to salicylic acid during vegetative growth to increase both quantitative and qualitative yield. پرونده مقاله

    BACKGROUND: Using plant hormones is an effective way to increase potato yield. Some plant hormones, such as gibberellic acid, cytokinin, and auxin, can stimulate the growth of potato roots and leaves, and among their other effects are regulating plant growth and development. OBJECTIVES: This experiment was conducted in order to assess the effect of growth regulator (IAA hormone foliar application) and weed control on growth indices, crop production and morphological traits of the potato cultivars during two crop years in Bardsir region. METHODS: This research was done at the Bardsir agricultural college, Kerman province(Iran) in 2017-2018 cropping seasons. The study was consisted of a split factorial using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The two potato cultivars (Milva and Sante), as the first factor placed in the main plots, and three levels of foliar spraying of indole acetic acid (IAA) hormone (including of non-use, 200 and 400 ppm), and weed control (including of the pre-emergence application of metribuzin herbicide with an amount of 750 g.ha-1, the two-stage application of metribuzin in the form of split [the pre-emergence application (500 g.ha-1) + the post emergence application (250 g.ha-1)], manual weeding and without weed control were factorially as the secondary factor were also placed in sub-plots. RESULT: The results showed that increasing auxin from no consumption to 400 ppm significantly increased dry and fresh weight of potato tuber, tuber diameter, tuber yield, dry biomass and leaf area index. The application of auxin at 400 ppm significantly increased the weed biomass at the time of potato harvest. The highest leaf area index of 3.46 was observed in Milva cultivar when 400 ppm of indole-3-acetic acid was used. Weed control during the two-step application of metribuzin was recorded with an increase ratio of 15 to 39% compared to the control without treatment. CONCLUSION: The highest yield of potato tuber was obtained under two-step application conditions of metribuzin and 400 ppm auxin at the rate of 38055.33kg.ha-1. پرونده مقاله

    به‌منظور بررسی اثر کاربرد پیش تیمار پراکسیدهیدروژن و محلول‌پاشی مس بر برخی صفات فیزیولوژیکی و عملکرد کمی ذرت تحت تنش کمبود آب، آزمایشی به صورت کرت‌های دو بار خرد شده در قالب طرح بلوک‌های کامل تصادفی با چهار تکرار طی سال‌های زراعی 97-1396 و 98-1397 در مزرعه‌ای واقع در شهرستان باغملک اجرا شد. کرت اصلی رژیم آبیاری با 4 سطح نرمال، قطع آبیاری 40 ، 55 و 70 روز بعد از ظهور تاسل، کرت فرعی محلول‌پاشی مس با دو سطح شاهد و 30/0 کیلوگرم خالص در هکتار از منبع سولفات مس 50 درصد 25 روز بعد از ظهور تاسل و کرت فرعی فرعی تیمار بذر با پراکسید هیدروژن با 3 سطح شاهد،30 و 60 میلی‌مولار بود. نتایج نشان داد که برهم‌کنش سه‌گانه رژیم آبیاری، محلول‌پاشی مس و پراکسیدهیدروژن بر کلروفیل a، کلروفیل b، کارتنوئید، کاتالاز، ارتفاع بوته، تعداد دانه در ردیف و عملکرد دانه در سطح احتمال یک درصد معنی‌دار بود. بیشترین عملکرد دانه (07/9530 کیلوگرم در هکتار) در شرایط آبیاری نرمال و محلول‌پاشی مس و کاربرد 60 میلی‌مولار پراکسیدهیدروژن حاصل شد که نسبت به قطع آبیاری 40 روز بعد از ظهور تاسل و عدم محلول‌پاشی مس و عدم کاربرد پراکسیدهیدروژن حدود 42 درصد افزایش نشان داد. فعالیت آنزیم کاتالاز در شرایط قطع آبیاری 40 روز بعد از ظهور تاسل و محلول‌پاشی مس و کاربرد 30 میلی‌مولار پراکسیدهیدروژن حدود 67 درصد نسبت به شرایط آبیاری نرمال و شاهد افزایش یافت. به‌طور کلی نتایج آزمایش نشان داد که محلول‌پاشی مس و کاربرد 60 میلی‌مولار پراکسیدهیدروژن در شرایط رطوبتی مناسب می‌تواند موجب افزایش جذب کلروفیل، عملکرد دانه و در کل بهبود تولید ذرت شود. پرونده مقاله
