Natural disasters, including floods, have been on the rise in the last two decades, especially in Asia and Iran, due to the rampant urban development that has accompanied the global warming crisis. This is extremely significant given the extensive human and financial damage it causes. Makran or Makuran, located on the southeastern coast of Iran, is a developing region that is of national strategic importance and has attracted the attention of global investors in recent years. As a result, assessing the vulnerability caused by floods in this area can be effective in reducing human costs, especially financial management before the accident and reducing the adverse effects. Mantle peridotites exposed in south Jazmourian comprise of lherzolite and porphyroclastic Cpx-bearing harzburgite in the lower part with chromitite lenses in the upper parts. Petrography and microprobe studies shows evidence of melt-peridotite interactions; post melting processes and subsolidus interactions, which has been associated with appearance of two generations of deformed primary pyroxene-olivine and fine-grained pyroxene-olivine-amphibole neoblasts. Second generation of minerals formed as inclusion, interstitial and fine-grain. These two groups of minerals have different geochemical characteristics, So that, the first group are comparable with abyssal peridotites and second group are comparable to suprasubduction (SSZ) peridotites. Thus, the chemical compositions of different generations minerals show different petrogenesis for ultramafic rocks in south Jazmourian. Whole rock chemical data indicate south Jazmourian peridotites have a depleted MORB mantle source which undergoing 10-20% partial melting. Thus this peridotites have experienced multistage evolution and show characteristics of the abyssal environment to suprasubduction zone. We are belived that peridotites transition from the abyssal environment to suprasubduction and affected by fluids derived from the subducted slab.  Manuscript profile

Iran's mud volcanoes are clearly visible on the coastal plains of the Oman and Caspian Seas. There are 30 Gatan Mud Volcanoes located in the southeast of Iran: 15 of which are located between Jask and Minab in Hormozgan province, nine are between Chabahar and Jask Ports, and another six are between Chabahar and the Iran-Pakistan border in Sistan and Balouchestan Province. After some studies and investigations, research was performed on some of the mud volcanoes in the western Jask city located in the west of lower Gatan village. Gatan is located in the eastern coast of Hormozgan Province between the counties of Jask and Minab and on the coastal region of Makran. Being located on the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz and due to marine currents, it has certain sedimentology circumstances. Formation of Gatan Mud Volcanoes is a result of rising muddy water along the faults and cracks in the crust to the earth's surface. Results of mineralogical studies indicate that clay and limestone samples contain fossils and abundant minerals include quartz, albite, illite, calcite and dolomite. Manuscript profile

Among the criteria of regional planning to determine inequalities is determining the status of regions according to development indicators. In the literature and development policy, it is generally believed that the growth of GDP and high per capita income is the main axis of development.. The purpose of this research is the regional development policy of Makran, the current research has been done using the descriptive-analytical method and based on future research methods with a combination of documentary and survey methods. In this research, after studying the upstream documents, two-stage Delphi method was used to identify the key variables affecting the sustainable development of Makran region, and the analyzed data includes 36 variables in the form of 8 areas as primary variables affecting sustainable development. The findings show that the ideal institutional model for the development of Makran will be to go through sectoral approaches and move gradually in the direction of institutional capacity building. Non-institutional models based on the theory of neo-regionalism play high capacities for the institutional capacity building of Makran. As a result, in regional governance, Makran Development Organization should play the role of leadership and policy-making in the credit of the political support of the central government. The main question of this article is that Planning and organizing political, security and economic space in the region of Makran what features and specifics should be which can be used as a model for all areas of the region, including Chabahar? The results of this article show that the region has an exceptional position in terms of communication status. The coastal strip of the Chabahar district is on the same side with the coastal strip of Hormozgan and the north of the Persian Gulf, and on the other side of Pakistan's coastal strip and Karachi. This area is coming by the Sea of Oman, the Gulf of Aden and the Suez Canal, to the Mediterranean Sea and Europe, by the Indian Ocean to Africa and the Nose of Hope (and also the Mediterranean) as well as the Atlantic and the Americas. Also on national security, strategic position of Chabahar ahat on the one hand is due to its location at the entrance to the Oman Sea and Persian Gulf and, on the other hand, having oriental estuaries as well as its harbor because of its proximity to the Indian subcontinent and its natural ability to play the role of covering the Gulf ports in terms of controlling the Strait of Hormuz and its nobility on the southern shores of the Oman Sea, have given Possibility of strict control over the military lines in the Indian Ocean and the Strait of Bab Al-Hamad to the area. Due to the political situation in the region also, the border province of Sistan and Baluchistan, in terms of its neighbors with both Pakistan and Afghanistan and also on the margin of free waters of the Oman Sea has enjoyed strategically and politically sensitive. Today, tourism is the most important economic activity in the world on the one hand and the most important scientific issue on the other hand. Therefore, policies, strategies, and tourism planning are important intellectual challenges of the human community. The length of the Gulf of Oman in the southeast of Balochistan is wide. The present study is an applied research in terms of its purpose and descriptive-analytical based on the nature and method. Its sample size has been determined based on Cochran's formula of 384 people. The general results of the research confirm that the infrastructure and facilities in the study area have favorable growth only in small parts of the region while they have not been very desirable in other parts. Also, with 95% confidence it can be said that transportation, welfare and hospitality facilities, tourism infrastructure intermediary services, etc. have all significant effect on the development of tourism in Makran beaches. In this project it was focused on a method which used sound channel to receive underwater seismo signals. After the discovery of sound channel existence in Arabian Sea and Makran Sea, all the sea water physical parameters data and the possibility of their variations caused by wind, surface currents, internal currents, sedimentations, etc. were analyzed, following which, the seismo acoustics transmission in sound channel was studied. Furthermore time travel of a sound signal was calculated and compared with a tsunami wave time travel. Research method was based on the study of sound channel formation with regards to sea water physical parameters variations, change in mixed layer formation and evaluation of SOFAR cline with changes in mixed layer cline. Results showed that we can use underwater sound channels to trace underwater seismo acoustics in these regions. Travel time of this sound was one seventh of a tsunami wave travel time.
