The procrastination discussions is an important issue in recent years for many researchers since it has been a bad habit and behavioral problem. The aim of this study was to examine the role of the positive and negative affect, fear of failure and goal achievement orientation in predicting procrastination among 120 male and female students at Payam Noor university of Delfan during The academic year 2013-2014. We selected this sample through randomized sampling method. The data were collected by questionnaires named Positive and Negative affect (Watson and et al, 1988), Goal achievement orientation (Elliot and McGregor, 2001), Fear of failure (Rajabi and Abbasi, 2011) and Academic procrastination. In addition positive affect (P<0.001, r= -0.302) and mastery goal achievement orientation (P<0.000, r= -0.360) was negatively and significantly related to academic procrastination. Finally, there was no meaningful relationship between performance goal achievement orientation and procrastination. Regression analysis showed that variables positive affect (P<0.002), mastery goal achievement orientation (P<0.004) and fear of failure (P<0.001) have involved in predicting factor of academic procrastination and fear of failure has the strongest value.

Abstract The purpose of this research was investigating relationship between just world beliefs with general health, life satisfaction, positive and negative affect and automatic thoughts. In this regard, from statistical population (total of males and females habitants in Isfahan) persons for answer to the research questionnaires randomly selected with using multi-stage sampling. Five questionnaires used in this research: general health (with four subscales), life satisfaction, positive and negative affect, automatic thoughts and just world beliefs for self and others. The data analyzed with using Pearson's correlation coefficient and enter and stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that, there is negative significant correlation between general health subscales and life satisfaction with just world beliefs for self and others (P < ). The another section of results showed that there is negative significant correlation between positive affect with just world beliefs for self and others but positive significant correlation between negative affect and just world beliefs for self and other ( P < ). Also automatic thoughts have positive significant correlation with just world beliefs for self and others (P < ). The results of enter regression analysis showed that from total of research variables, only life satisfaction have predictive power for prediction of just world beliefs for self and others. Also stepwise regression analysis showed that from total of research variables, only life satisfaction and depression have predictive power for prediction of just world beliefs for self and others.

This study investigated the factor structure, and construct validity of Positive and Negative Affect Scales (Mroczek & Kolarz, 1998) among Iranian students. A sample of 88 male and 117 female students of Tehran University completed the Positive Affect, Negative Affect, Psychological Well-being (Ryff, 1989) and Social Wellbeing (Keys, 1998) Scales. The results of exploratory factor analyses showed the unidimensional factor structure of the positive and negative scales, but the goodness-of-fit indexes of confirmatory factor analysis were not apropriate, expecially for the negative scale. The convergent and discriminate validity (with Psychological Well-being and Social Well-being Scales) and internal cosistency of both scales were acceptable.
