Domestic violence of men is known as a hidden worldwide phenomena which would be resolved by cognition. One way to recognize in Iranian Muslim societies is applying Quranic learnings. The present research attempts to induce unique Quranic learnings by interpreting relevant Verses and by advisory approach in order to make the family advisors familiar and joyful of these findings and enable them to apply the learnings for the involved families. One of the features of the research is its advisory approach to Verses interpretations. The best Quran's strategy is the philology of the word "Peace", in fact Quran advises women a passive reaction against their husbands' violence. The second and the last strategy is the divorce stage from Quran's point of view. Manuscript profile

This semi-experimental study aimed to compare the effectiveness of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness and life therapy on cognitive flexibility and psychological capital in such patients. The research employed a pre-test and post-test design with a control group. The statistical population comprised individuals aged 25 to 50 diagnosed with indigestion without ulcers at Tuba Gastroenterology clinics in Sari and Ghaemshahr cities in 2022. A total of 45 participants were selected through available sampling, with 15 each in the experimental groups (mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and life therapy) and the control group. The experimental groups underwent eight sessions of therapy once a week for 90 minutes. Data were collected using the cognitive flexibility questionnaire by Dennis and Vanderwal (2010) and the psychological capital questionnaire by Loutans and Olive (2007) at pre-test, post-test, and a two-month follow-up. Mixed analysis of variance and Benferroni's post hoc test were applied for data analysis in SPSS version 24 software. Results indicated a significant main effect of both cognitive therapy groups, with 53% of cognitive flexibility and 44% of changes attributed to the interventions. Furthermore, a significant difference was observed between the effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and life therapy, with the former showing a greater impact on cognitive flexibility and psychological capital (P < 0.01). AbstractPeople with diabetes face psychological challenges. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to treatments based on commitment and acceptance and cognitive therapy based on mindfulness in this field. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of commitment and acceptance based cognitive therapy on cognitive flexibility of patients with type 2 diabetes. The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a witness group. The statistical population of the current study was all type 2 diabetic patients who referred to Maternal Diabetes Center, Tubi Specialized and Subspecialized Clinic, and Mostafavian Clinic in Sari city in 2018-2019. 30 people were selected as a sample by purposive sampling method. Simple randomization was performed in two experimental (15 people) and control (15 people) groups. Dennis and Vanderwaal (2010) cognitive flexibility scale were used to collect data. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and multivariate covariance analysis and post hoc test were used to analyze the research data. The results showed that treatment based on commitment and acceptance and cognitive therapy based on mindfulness are effective on distress tolerance and cognitive flexibility of patients with type 2 diabetes at a significance level of P<0.01. Also, there is no significant difference between this type of treatment. Considering the effectiveness of treatments based on commitment and acceptance and cognitive therapy based on mindfulness on cognitive flexibility, it seems that this treatment can be used to reduce the psychological problems of patients with type 2 diabetes. Keywords: commitment and acceptance, cognitive therapy based on mindfulness, cognitive flexibility, type 2 diabetes.1. Depression is now a common chronic illness in most communities all over the world that may disrupt normal functioning, cause depressive thoughts, and negatively affect the quality of life (QoL). The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy on quality of life (QoL), depression and cortisol levels in people with depression. Thirty women with depression were selected voluntarily and randomly assigned to experimental (n = 15) and control (n = 15) groups. For the experimental group, treatment sessions were held for eight 90-minute sessions per week and the control group did not receive any treatment. To measure the variables, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II and SF36 Quality of Life Questionnaire) was used twice (before and after treatment) and to measure cortisol levels, blood samples were taken between 8 and 10 am before the onset of first and last treatment sessions and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was employed to analyze the data. The results showed that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy in the pretest-posttest phase reduced depression and cortisol rate from 23.87 and 14.48 to 10.13 and 11.95, respectively and increased quality of life from 32.90 to 83.52 in the experimental group (p < 0.001). Based on the findings of the present study, it can be concluded that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy can improve the mental status and quality of life of patients with depression. Cognitive therapy based on mindfulness is a combination of Beck's cognitive therapy and Kabat Zinn’s mindfulness based stress reduction program and behavioral activation provokes depressed clients searching for positive reinforcement. The aim of the current study is to compare the effectiveness of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and treatment of activating behavior for depression in depression rate and quality of life in depressed students. Therefore, in a quasi-experimental 50 students of Azad University of Malayer who earned the minimum score of 20 on the exam depression test were selected. From this number, 34 people based on a structured clinical interview and in compliance with the principle of equivalency were divided into two groups of experiment randomly, to undergo mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and group therapy of behavioral activation. Both groups underwent therapeutic protocols for 8 sessions. The control group did not undergo any intervention. Both groups were assessed on depression and quality of life both before and after the grouping. Analysis of mixed variances of the data indicated that cognitive therapy based on mindfulness and behavioral activation for depression improved the median of depression scores and quality of life of subjects. It seems that west therapeutic techniques are more useful when bonded with the eastern rites. Manuscript profile

Mental health effects general health, psychological well-being, , network of social support and interpersonal relationships and skills. Since feeling of being healthy improve psychological, social, occupational and family performances, this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of group cognitive therapy and dialectical behavior therapy on students’ general health. Therefore, in a quasi-experimental study, 250 students were selected through availability method and evaluated for general health. From this, 45 people who had the highest scores were selected and randomly assigned to one control and two experimental groups (n=15). The first experimental group received eight two-hour sessions of dialectical behavior therapy and second experimental group received eight two-session of cognitive therapy. The control group received no therapy. In the last session, participants were evaluated again for general health. Analysis of covariance showed that after scores adjustment of pre-test, there are significant differences between the means of three groups’ post-test scores. Additionally, examination of adjusted means demonstrated the effectiveness of teaching the cognitive therapy skills in comparison to dialectical behavioral therapy skills. It can be conclude that cognitive therapy is effective in increasing the general health of students; however, dialectical behavior therapy has not made a significant improvement in participants’ general health. The purpose of this research was to compare the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive therapy based on mindfulness, self-compassion, and family resilience of mothers of children in education. This research was semi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test with a control group and a follow-up period of 5 months. Sampling was done by simple random sampling. From the list of the statistical population (24) people were selected using random numbers and were placed in two experimental groups of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness, the control group. The educational intervention was conducted using Crane's educational package (2011) in 8- 2-hour sessions for the experimental group. The method of data analysis was multivariate analysis of covariance (ANOVA). The software (SPSS 22) was used for data analysis. Self-compassion, Neff (2003) and Sixby (2005) family resilience questionnaires were used as tools. The results showed that cognitive therapy based on mindfulness in the form of group counseling increases self-compassion and family resilience. Mothers of educated children have an effect and this effect was stable in the 5-month follow-up phase. According to the findings of this research, it is possible to use the cognitive therapy group counseling method based on mindfulness to increase self-compassion and family resilience.
