About the journal
Iranian Journal of Biological Sciences has been published since 2006 by the vice chancellor of Research of the Varamin-Pishva Branch, Islamic Azad University. Iranian Journal of Biological Sciences is an open access, peer-reviewed, print and online, interdisciplinary. The quarterly journal focuses to latest research in the fields of cellular and molecular biology, evolutionary biology, plant and animal physiology, plant and animal biosystematics, microbiology, ecology, phylogeny, genetics, biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, computational biology, marine biology, biotechnology and nanobiotechnology. Iranian Journal of Biological Sciences publishes high quality original research papers. Special issues devoted to important topics in each field of biology will be published as well.
