Abstract :
Nowadays, environmental problems are considered one of the main challenges of the global community. In this regard, green technologies have been introduced as an effective tool for reducing the negative effects of humans on the environment. Green technologies refer to a set of technologies that aim to optimally use natural resources, reduce waste and pollution, improve the quality of life, and support sustainable development. Therefore, using green technologies can be a smart necessity in order to achieve a more sustainable and healthier future. The acceptance and penetration of these technologies in any society requires the examination of numerous factors, which in the present study, this issue has been examined in Iranian society through a mixed qualitative-quantitative methodology. Initially, the results of qualitative analysis and interviews with eight experts showed that the model of acceptance of green technologies in Iranian society has 6 main factors and 43 components. In the next step, the results of the hierarchical analysis and the paired comparison questionnaire showed that the weight and importance of the main factors of the model are as follows: environmental (with a weight of 0.236), economic (with a weight of 0.217), institutional (with a weight of 0.168), cultural (with a weight of 0.150), social (with a weight of 0.135), and individual (with a weight of 0.094).
