  • Evaluation Process

The refereeing process in this journal is double-blind review, and each article is reviewed by at least three referees.

In the Journal of Management and Sustainable Development Studies, from submitting a manuscript to refereeing and accepting / rejecting articles for publication, the following process takes place:

    Refereeing process

    Step One (Preliminary Review)
Articles submitted will be reviewed by the editor or his deputy. This review includes the following:

    1.  Matching the subject and type of article with the goals and policies of the journal (a list of topics and types of articles that can be published in the journal is reported on the authors' guide page).
    2. Examining the different sections of the article in terms of how to comply with the journal standards in terms of writing and science (some essential points have been reported on the authors' guide page).

The first case can lead to the rejection of the article, and the second case to the request for corrections in the text of the article.
Note: The initial review time will be a maximum of one week.

    Step Two (Scientific Judging)

At this stage, the opinions of at least three experts on the subject of the article are taken. The number of referees required to review the article is selected at the discretion of the editor.

Step 3 (checking the originality of the article)
Due to the necessity of dealing with academic plagiarism and maintaining the intellectual property of the authors' works, this journal uses the services of a text finder system. Therefore, the refereeing process in this journal depends on confirming the originality of the articles in this system.

    Step 4 (Editorial Review)

The editorial board has full authority to reject, approve and/or appoint a new referee for articles. With the approval of the editorial board, the article will be ready for publication in future issues of the journal.

    Step 5 (Publish)

The publication of articles depends on the authors' cooperation in the required corrections (such as writing corrections, sending higher quality diagrams and figures, Latin abstract correction, etc.) and finally the final opinion of the text by all authors.

Note: If the responsible author withdraws after submitting the article to the referee for unjustified reasons, the journal will refuse to review and publish the articles of which the author is one of the authors (articles that are in the process of being reviewed and published or will be submitted in the future).
