The aim of this study wasto predict mathematics talent on the basis of creativity and personality types in primary school gifted students. The research tools wereWechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, fourth edition (2003), Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (1372), Personality TpesIndex (Murphy – Meiesger, 2011),and the researcher-developed MathematicsTalent Evaluation Scale (Teacher Form). The statistical population comprisedofall the sixth grade primary school gifted students of Esfahan, from whom 282 students (148 girls and 134 boys) with an IQ of 130 and above were selected. The results of the structural equation modeling revealed that the data fitted the model and that the variables creativity and personality types predicted%38 of the variance for the variable mathematics talent, and the effect of both variables of creativity and personality types on mathematics talent was significant (P<0.05).Therefore, using both variables, mathematics talent can be directly predicted at about average and above. This study aimed to investigate construct validity of emotional working memory via the cognitive–emotional-social working memory training package in 5th grade female elementary school students in Tehran. The research employed a pretest-posttest and follow-up semi-experimental research design with the control group. The statistical population consisted of all 5th grade female students of Tehran during the academic year 2015-2016. Those students with working memory impairment were selected via multi-stage cluster random sampling using the Wechsler Software Working Memory Scale. Then, from among them, 40 students were randomly selected and divided into two 20-participant experimental and control groups. The cognitive-emotional-social working memory training was performed in 20 sessions for the experimental group. Before and after the intervention and two months later (follow up), participants answered to the Wechsler Software Working Memory Scale (Khodadadi, Mashhadi and Amani, 2009) and emotional working memory (Ladouceur, Silk, Dahl, Ostapenko, Kronhaus, & Phillips, 2009). The research data were analyzed using ANCOVA. According to the results of the study, the cognitive-emotional-social working memory training significantly improved the attention performance and emotional working memory (P > 0.01). As a result, emotional working memory enjoys acceptable construct validity. Manuscript profile

This descriptive-correlational study was a structural equation modeling using path analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all female high school students who were studying in the city of Urmia in 2015-2016. A total of 300 people were selected using random cluster sampling Which was used to determine the sample size from the Morgan table. Basic psychological needs of students with alienation have a significant negative effect (P<0.01). Supporting teacher autonomy and autonomous locus of controlhave a significant negative impact on students academic alienation (P<0.01). The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of therapeutic attachment on eating disorders in girls with obesity. This research was a pre-test-posttest-follow-up study with control group. The statistical population of this study was primary school girls with attachment problems and obesity. Of these, 32 were randomly divided into control (16 girls) and experimental (16 girls). Purposeful sampling method was used. The research tool was Child Attachment Disorder Questionnaire (Randolph 1996), Eating Disorders Questionnaire (Boehne & Farborn, 2008) and Clinical Impairment due to eating disorder Questionnaire (Marcus & Kalarchian, 2003). After forming groups (experimental and control) and performing pretest, the mothers of the experimental group participated in the intervention program for 10 sessions during the two and a half months and did not receive any interventional control group. After the end of the intervention, two post-test groups were followed after 45. The results of single-variable covariance analysis indicated that there was a significant decrease in the level of Clinical Impairment due to eating disorders in the post-test and follow-up stages compared to control (p <0.005). According to the results, attachment therapy can be used as an intervention to reduce Clinical Impairment due to eating disorders in obese children. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive role of emotional schemas and difficulties in emotion regulation in high-risk behaviors among university students. The research method was descriptive and correlational, and statistical population included all students from Kosar University of Bojnord. The Sample of 325 (female) students were selected by random cluster sampling. Research tools were the Young’s Risk Behavior Scale (YRBS; Brener et al, 1995), Emotional Schemas Scale (LESS; Leahy, 2002) and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS; Gratz & Roemer, 2004). To analyze the data, methods of descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression were employed. Findings indicated that some components of Emotional Schemas like, Emotional Self-awareness, Consensus, and Acceptance of feelings were negatively and Comprehensibility, Rumination, Guilt, and blame were positively associated with high-risk behaviors. In addition, some factors of difficulties in emotion regulation such as, Difficulties Engaging in Goal-Directed Behavior, Impulse Control Difficulties, Lack of Emotional Awareness, Limited Access to Emotion Regulation Strategies, and Lack of Emotional Clarity were predicted high-risk behaviors. Findings of present study showed that failure in the perception and dysregulation of emotions may susceptible a person to experience emotional distress which probably high risk behaviors was chosen as a mean to relieve negative emotions.
