        The purpose of the present study is to review the effect of media consumption on the athletic performance with the intervening role of quality of life among table tennis athletes in the province of Tehran. This study is descriptive-correlational and was conducted through field research using questionnaires. The statistical population consisted of all table tennis athletes in the province of Tehran among whom 1500 members were active according to the obtained information from the province assembly. Based on Morgan table, 306 athletes were chosen as the sample of study. In this regard, three questionnaires including Media Consumption by Mahmoudian et al. (2015), World Health Organization Quality of Life (1999), and Athletic Performance by Qasemi (2012) were used.  The reliability of the questionnaires was calculated to be 0.86%, 0.081%, and 0.91% respectively. Descriptive statistics was used for the classification of raw scores, design of frequency distribution table, and assessment of dispersion indices such as mean, standard deviation and frequency. Besides, the research hypothesis was tested using Path Analysis and SPSS. The results showed that media consumption is effective on the athletic performance of table tennis athletes with the intervening role of quality of life among table tennis athletes in the province of Tehran.         The purpose of the present study is to review the effect of using social media on the social identity and job performance of employees in the sport organization of Tehran municipality. This is a descriptive-correlational study which was conducted as field research by questionnaires. According to the obtained information, there are 1360 employees in the sport organization of Tehran municipality in 2021. Based on the Morgan Table, 302 members were chosen as the research sample. For data collection, Jahānbāni’s questionnaire (2018), Richard Jenkins’ social identity survey (2008), and job performance questionnaire designed by Kumpz et al. were used. Descriptive statistics was used to classify raw scores, design frequency distribution tables and measure dispersion indexes such as average, standard deviation, and frequency. The results showed that using social media is effective on the social identity and job performance of employees in the sport organization of Tehran municipality. Thus, it is recommended to create a special database and register the employees’ requests with the purpose of understanding their needs and expectations in social networking. Besides, it is suggested to have dialogue with the employees through practical programs in social media in order to improve their performance. Manuscript profile
