    Authors should submit articles only through the article submission section of the journal system, articles sent via email or hard copy will not be considered. To submit an article, the responsible author must first register in the journal system in the "Send Article" section. Journal address: https://sanad.iau.ir/Journal/jsports/Page/authors
     * If an article is derived from an academic thesis or a specific research project, the author is obliged to mention the detailed information of the relevant thesis or project in the authors' profile section.

    Kind of articles

    *Journal of Applied research in sports and health sciences only accepts original research articles.
    * The journal  of Applied Researches in Sports and Health Sciences does not accept translated articles.

    Judges' comments:

    Dear authors, if the article is amended according to the opinion of the referees, please mark the corrections in the article with green color and put a table at the beginning of the article that the opinions of the referees are written in one column and the corrections of the author are written in the second column.

    1. Abstract is required for all types of articles submitted to the journal. The number of words in the abstract should be between 300 and 400 words and in the form of a broad abstract.

    2. The keyword is required for all types of articles submitted to the journal. The number of keywords should be between 5 and 10 keywords.

    3. The total length of the article should be a maximum of 7000 words.

    The sender of the article is considered as the responsible author and all subsequent correspondence and information will be done with him.

    Three main files that must be sent when registering an article:

    1. The original file of the article (without authors' details)
    2. Profile of authors
    3. Commitment letter and non-conflict of interest file (click to download this file)

    * Do not mention directly/indirectly the name of the author/authors of the article in the text or footnote.

    * Specific names, Latin terms and explanatory references should be mentioned in the footnotes.

    * Avoid direct and long quotations (it is necessary to specify in the article which part of the text is a direct quotation).

    * Do not include any reference in the footnote.

    * The full information of the references in the text must be included in the references section of the article.

    *If more than one work is published by the same author in one year and cited in the text, after mentioning the year of publication with the letters (a, b...) for Persian sources or (a, b) be distinguished for English sources.

    *If the cited source has two or three authors, the surnames of all three must be mentioned.

    *If the number of authors is more than three, only the last name of the first author is mentioned and then the phrase "and others" is used.

    * If more than one source is cited in the text, with a semicolon; They are separated.

    * If the author has used a source consecutively in the text, he must repeat the name of the source (the use of expressions: the same, the same, the same, the same is incorrect).

    List of end references

    *** The Qur'an and Nahj al-Balaghah are listed at the beginning of the sources section and are not listed alphabetically.

    *In the References section, where the sources are written in English, the author's last name is written in full, but only the first letter of the author's name is written. Example: Alston, W

    * Insertion of DOI identifier is required for articles that have this code.

    * The sources included in this section must be used in the text. (Resources that are introduced in the text only for the audience's study and knowledge, and are not referred to in the text, should not be included in the references section).

    * The order of sources should be based on the alphabetical order of the last names of the authors.

    * If several works of the same author are placed in an alphabetical row, the author's name must be included, using a dash to avoid repeating the author's name is incorrect.

    Citation format
     The citation method  is APA. Authors are obliged to insert all in-text citations and the end of the work exactly according to this pattern.
