Abstract :
Introduction and Objective: Educational environments are environments full of vitality and hope. Educational environments are responsible for training the future human resources of societies. In such environments, multi-faceted attention to the teaching and learning situation is vital and requires special management and leadership. The current study aimed to elucidate the relationship among authentic leadership, organizational virtue, and psychological well-being in primary school teachers of Marvdasht County. Given the pivotal role of teachers in enhancing educational quality and fostering dynamic organizational interactions, this study holds significant importance.
Methodology: This research employed a correlational and applied design. The statistical population comprised 750 primary school teachers in Marvdasht County, from whom a sample of 256 individuals was selected using simple random sampling, based on Morgan’s table. Data collection instruments included the standard Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (Walumbwa et al.), the Organizational Virtue Questionnaire (Cameron et al.), and the Psychological Well-being Questionnaire (Ryff).
Findings: The results of data analysis indicated a positive and significant relationship between authentic leadership and organizational virtue. Furthermore, a positive and significant association was observed between authentic leadership and teachers’ psychological well-being
Discussion and Conclusion: These findings confirm that authentic leadership can be a key factor in promoting organizational virtue and improving teachers’ psychological well-being. Therefore, it is suggested that school administrators focus on strengthening their authentic leadership skills to facilitate the enhancement of organizational virtue and the mental health of the teaching community.
