Identifying factors affecting the quality of communication between family and school in elementary school

Abstract :
Introduction: Home and school complement each other in carrying out educational tasks. Home is a child's first home and school is his second home. If these two institutions do not have coordinated methods and programs, the child's development will be disturbed. Two institutions, home and school, play an essential role in the development of the personality of children and adolescents.
research methodology: Therefore, the current research seeks to identify the factors affecting the quality of communication between family and school in the elementary school. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and correlational in terms of descriptive implementation method. The statistical population consists of all the primary teachers of Shiraz city, and 366 people were selected as a sample. Information was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. The Cronbach's alpha value of the questionnaire was 0.87 and its reliability was confirmed. The obtained data were analyzed using PLS software.
Findings: The results indicate that parents, school, students, existing systems and communication principles have a positive and significant effect on the relationship between family and school.
Conclusion: There should be alignment and similarity between the methods and attitudes of home and school, and one of these two centers should not neutralize the work of the other, but should act as two sympathetic and complementary streams. The school should be the vanguard of the relationship with the home and provide the means of intellectual participation of the parents in the education of their children through various methods
