The impact of green organizational culture on corporate reputation and business performance with the mediating role of green human resource management

Abstract :
Climate change, industrial damage to the environment, increased greenhouse gas emissions, and air and water pollution have made the use of green management and attention to environmental issues in today's turbulent world not only an advantage, but also an unavoidable necessity for companies and organizations. This study was conducted with the aim of explaining the impact of green organizational culture on company reputation and business performance with the mediating role of green human resource management. The research method is based on the applied objective and on the basis of descriptive survey implementation, and the statistical population of the study includes employees and managers of Arta Tejarat Zarrin Company, and a sample of 145 people was selected through systematic random sampling. To collect data, the questionnaire of Green Organizational Culture by Huynh et al. (2023), Green Human Resource Management by Piwowar-Sulej et al. (2023), Company Reputation by Faeni et al. (2025), and Financial Performance by Bah et al. (2020) were used and Structural equation modeling in SmartPLS software was used to examine the research hypotheses and the results indicate that green organizational culture has a positive impact on green human resource management, company reputation, and business performance, and the impact of green human resource management on company reputation and business performance was also confirmed. It was also found that green organizational culture has an impact on company reputation and business performance with the mediating role of green human resource management. Therefore, it can be concluded that if a green organizational culture is institutionalized and green human resource management is implemented, the firm's reputation can be improved and business performance can be promoted.
