Abstract :

In this article, in order to indicate the role of information technology in thestructure of artistic-cultural organizations, first the importance of the issue ispointed out, and the relationship between information technology and theorganizational structure are described, and then the importance of informationtechnology, its effect on the organization and its advantages are explained.Afterwards, the concept of organizational structure and its dimensions areindicated, and the reasons of indicating the research hypotheses on therelationship of organizational structure and information technology arepresented. According to the results from this investigation, it is clear thatimplementing information technology has led to the decrease of organizationalhierarchy, number of workers and number of organizational units within thestudied organization.
