Study of the relationship between cultural capital and the culture of citizenship with cultural citizenship؛ (Case study: Karaj city)

Abstract :
Introduction and Objective: Today, the cultural approach is important in all matters, including urban management policy, and supports a set of values and social systems. The purpose of this study is to examine the social phenomenon of cultural citizenship and its relationship with cultural capital and citizenship culture. Methodology: The research is descriptive and survey method. The statistical population of Karaj citizens is 1396. The sample size according to Cochran formula was 384 and the cluster sampling method was used. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS with Pearson correlation coefficient and regression. Findings: The relationship between cultural culture and cultural citizenship was confirmed, but no significant relationship was observed between cultural capital and cultural citizenship. Result: Citizens are partly accepted by other citizens in other languages, race, religion, ethnicity, etc., in an urban complex and familiar with their rights and duties to other citizens. Considering the cultural rights of every citizen, each of the races, ethnicities and religious and social minorities has the right to citizenship and the culture of citizenship can be a factor in promoting their cultural rights.
