Abstract :
The present research aims at formulating a construction framework model and applying the culture of peace among the citizens of Alborz province in Iranian society. This study is an applied research that exerts a mixed method of both qualitative and quantitative approaches. In the first stage, the qualitative method of grounded theory has been used. In the qualitative section of the research, the statistic population includes the faculty members of the cultural management department as well as the executive experts of the cultural organizations and institutions. Moreover, 20 scientific and academic experts in the field of culture were included. The research tool comprises researcher-made coding sheets the validity of which was confirmed by the Delphi group, and their reliability was calculated at 0.95, applying the P-Scott criterion. The research findings revealed that the factors related to the peace culture model were determined in 11 components and categorized into five categories including core factors (culture of peace), reinforcing factors, contextual factors, formation barriers, and consequences. In the second stage of the research, the statistical population consists of the citizens of Alborz province, which are about 2,500,000 people. The sample size was estimated 384 people using Cochran's formula. After collecting the data, they were statistically analyzed using SPSS 22, Lisrel 8.54, and Excel software. The significance of the coefficients and parameters related to the components of the core factors (culture of peace), reinforcing factors, contextual factors, formation barriers, and consequences showed that all the obtained coefficients are significant.
