Comparing Experts’ and Executives’ Points of views about the Essentials of Media Literacy Education for Elementary Students: A Cultural Approach

Abstract :
Introduction and Research Goal: In recent decades,wasteful consumption of modern mass media by children, has sounded the alarm in our country. With respect to limited controllability, escape restrictions and inevitability of the modern media consumption, it seems that the one of the only fundamental solution of this problem is “teaching optimization of any type of media contents. In this research, with the aim of reaching the possibilities of realizing the consensus comments of experts and executives and increasing the possibility of successful executing of the plan (media education to elementary students) meanwhile, in order to recognize the essentials of children media education, these two groups of informers’ points of views has been examined and compared . Research Method:In this research, the researchers has been tried to explore the essentials of media education, hence, it is exploratory, and because of comparing the executives’ points of views, it is explanatory. In this research, it has been used the Delphi technique. Findings: It has been observed meaningful statistical significance in just two components .This result proves the existing of dominant alignment among the experts’ and executives’ points of views. Results: The consensus among experts’ and executives’ points of views, been proved. So the circumstances are ready for the successful implementation of media literacy in elementary schools.
