Abstract :
Purpose of the Research: The present study aims to determine the causal relationships between the professional development of senior managers at applied science universities and its impact on the culture of sustainable development.
Research Method: This research is descriptive-correlational in nature. The statistical population includes all senior managers of applied science universities, and a structural equation modeling approach was used for sample selection, ultimately resulting in 247 participants. The sampling method employed in this study was non-random quota sampling. To collect the necessary data for the quantitative section, questionnaires were distributed and collected among the statistical samples with the required coordination, and the gathered data were entered into the system. The quantitative phase of the research included two researcher-developed questionnaires designed to measure the professional development model of senior managers at applied science universities and its impact on sustainable development culture, as well as a questionnaire for assessing the validity of the model.
Findings: To calculate validity, a 27-item checklist based on the PRISMA model was used, and Cohen’s Kappa coefficient was employed for reliability assessment. Additionally, the validity of the questionnaire was evaluated through content, face, and construct validity. Reliability was also calculated using Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability, all of which were confirmed. The data analysis methods, based on the research questions, included descriptive statistics
Conclusion: The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between cognitive development, behavioral-judgmental development, leadership-management development, and and all pathways were accepted.
