Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to identify and study the dimensions of university entrepreneurship in the campuses of Islamic Azad University of Golestan Province. The research was conducted with a mixed approach in qualitative and quantitative phases. The research population consisted of faculty members of Islamic Azad University of Golestan province, of which 14 people participated in the qualitative part of the research in order to identify the dimensions of university entrepreneurship. Then, based on the conclusions, the quantitative part of the research was conducted by survey method. Sampling method of the qualitative and quantitative parts was purposive and stratified random, respectively. The first data collection tool was an interview and based on the identified dimensions and components, a university entrepreneurship questionnaire was also developed. The validity of the questionnaire was assessed by experts and its reliability was obtained by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.71). Factor analysis was used to analyze the data. Findings indicated that university entrepreneurship has three dimensions: organizational, individual, and group, which consist of 10 components of organizational atmosphere, organizational competence and entrepreneurial intention, communicative competence, strategic competence and professional competence; entrepreneurship desire, accrual competence, personal competence, and conceptual competence.
