The Impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Improving the Performance of Educational Managers from the Perspective of First Secondary Teachers

Abstract :
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) on improving the performance of educational managers, especially among the first secondary teachers of Shal city. The present research is practical in terms of purpose. In terms of the method of collecting descriptive information, it is survey type. The statistical sample of this research included 220 teachers (88 men and 132 women) and a questionnaire with 35 questions was used to collect data. The designed questionnaire has examined various aspects of information and communication technology, including access to information, communication and collaboration, time management and productivity, decision making and data analysis, and training and professional development. Data analysis was done using Smart PLS and Spss software. The results of this research showed that information and communication technology has a significant effect on improving the performance of educational managers. The results of this research suggest that educational managers should actively use ICT to improve management quality and increase efficiency in educational organizations. Also, educational policy makers should also take steps to facilitate the use of information technologies in schools and educational centers.
